Disney Visa Rewards timeline question

Hi, we leave 4 weeks from tomorrow for our trip. We have the Disney Visa, and just got our statement on 8/6-we have $111 in rewards right now. I am assuming I should call this week to have a rewards card sent to us so we'll have it in time, is that right?

Then my follow up question is, we will earn another $40 in points this month (8/1-9/1). If we already have the card, can I just call them after 9/1 and ask them to put the new points on the card they just sent?

That's how I am planning on doing it for our Dec. trip. Order the card after our statemnet date in Nov. and have the new points added in Dec. before our trip.

Yes, you can absolutely call Chase after 9/1 (assuming that's when they hit your statement) and have them transfer the additional points to your reward card.
