Disney Visa Rewards Question

Can somebody tell me if the rewards for Disney Visa expire, meaning can I just keep racking them up year after year. We are going to Disney in August but we are planning on taking our first Disney Cruise in 2012 and I would was wondering if I can just keep racking up the rewards and then cashing them in 2012 for our cruise. Thanks in advance for any information you can give me!

I think they do expire, but it's a few years into the future. Your statement should tell you when any of them might expire.

Once you transfer points onto a rewards card, they are good until Dec of the following year...so any card ordered in 2010, will expire 12/31/11 and if you ordered 1/1/11 it wont expire until 12/31/2012.

They are good for several years as long as you do not transfer them to a rewards card. Once they are transfered to a rewards card they expire with the date on the card I believe.

Just checked on my account and my oldest ones do not expire until 2014 so 2012 should be no problem.

If you do not transfer the points to a rewards card, they expire 5 years from the statement month in which you earned them. For example I have points I earned in 2006 that will expire from my account in 2011. It should say on your statement "xxx reward dollars will expire in xx/20xx."

Yes, the points expire 5 years after you earned them.

If you transfer any points to a rewards card, the card will have an expiration date on it (mine have always been December of the following year). You cannot put any unused points back onto your account, so I usually wait until right before our trip to redeem the points.

5 years after earned. And the December of the year after your transfer them to a useable card. (so transfered now will expire 12/11.)
