Disney Visa Rewards Promo offers?

Has anyone received any Disney Visa promos lately (other than disney store discounts or aulani discounts)? Last year and early this year, it seemed like I was getting a 3x reward offer fairly regularly. THe last one ended in June and I haven't received another one since. They spoiled me with those.

I'm getting so close to having enough for park tickets for the whole family and those 3x rewards would really help!

I haven't received any 3x offers since last year, nothing at all this year

I also noticed that we didn't get the free dining offers early, like we have in the past. The Disney offers on their website isn't even offering the most recent free dining offer.

The other couple of things that I noticed this trip that was different from our 2009 trip:
In 2009: ANY Disney purchase was offered 6 months interest free. Meaning, if we went to Disney and used our card to buy souvineers, that would be interest free for 6 months, Our room only ressie was also 6 months interest free. In 2011: The only interest free offer now is for packages.
In 2007 and again in 2009 Disney Visa also sent me an an offer for a Disney merchandise card at a great discount: $500 for $395, $600 for $445 or $1000 for $695. In 2011 I got nothing

I love building my Disney points to use on my trips but they seem to be taking more and more away and not giving us anything extra

We also have a Disney Visa CC that offers nothing. We use Our Chase Freedom card for most purchases now. You receive 5x rewards on certain purchases all year long. No minimum purchase required. You can apply your rewards toward any purchase made with your CC, or send yourself a check. Great deal!

I have 3 Disney Visa cards and have never received a promo such as mentioned above. Their 1 point is not exciting. I have actually paid off all of my cards and am using another card (not Chase) that pays real rewards.

Nothing here either! No multiple rewards, no "pre-going-public" offers... Nothing. Another thing they took away recently was allowing you to apply for a second card and receive offers like the $200 rewards dollars.

I have the Chase Freedom in addition to my Chase Disney card. On the Freedom card, points accumulate in my account which I can redeem online for gift cards or cash. I can redeem points and ask that a check be mailed to me (which is what I do), or there is an option where you can apply points to a purchase you have made on the card. I've never done that, but it sounds easy from what I've read on it. You just input the date of the purchase you want to apply points to and how many points you want to apply.

I used to get the 3x or 5x bonus offers on my Disney card at least every other quarter. I haven't gotten an offer in over a year now. I switched most of my purchases over to my Freedom card last fall in hopes that it would trigger Chase to send me a bonus offer on the Disney card. No such luck. Oh well... I'm accumulating points on the Freedom card that I plan to cash in and apply towards my next Disney trip. In the end, it works out better since I'm getting a greater percentage cash back on some purchases with the Freedom card.

I have the Costco AMEX and like it really well. I got back $550 in cash last year in addition to the money I get directly from Costco. You do have to purchase the executive Costco membership of $100.00 a year to be able to get this card. If you purchase a lot a Costco, it is a very good deal. I also had to dispute a charge last year and AMEX handled it quickly and sided with me. A lot of credit card companies tend to always side with the business even if the customer is clearly in the right and you have to fight for what is right. Can be a big hassle! I was pleasantly surprised with AMEX.

I have had the Disney Visa for 2 years and have yet to receive one 2x, 3x, or 5x. I call them all the time to complain about how unfair it is, probably wh haven't received an offer yet!Doreen

I didn't get a second card but we were lucky enough to get a card for DH a couple months ago using the $200 promo. That alone almost covers DS4's park ticket. But DH hasn't received an multiple point promos either. I was really hoping they'd send him something as an incentive to start using the card. Looks like we'll just cancel it and possibly mine too if we go with one of the others being discussed here.

I never received anything from Chase except hassle over credit limits (my Disney had a $4000 limit and I needed it raised - they refused and then weeks later gave me a Southwest card with a $10,000 limit and it took weeks and calls from three different people to get a portion of the $10,000 moved to the Disney card). So, the Disney card is now thrown in the drawer with the other "dead" cards and I'm using a Capital One Vantage card that gives me 2% back on everything I buy to be used toward vacations. I would get one of the ones that does 5% back on certain purchases, but they always seem to be places like grocery stores and exclude Wal Mart, Target, Sam's, etc. The added 3% doesn't make up for the huge price inflation at places like Kroger.

We have the Chase Freedom Visa and love it. We earn, on average, $50 every statement. I just log in and have them transfer the funds to our Chase checking account. We got the $100 bonus when we opened the account earlier this year too. Love free money!!

I also have a Disney Visa and I've gotten the 3X and 5X promotions in the past but haven't gotten one lately. I don't really use the card anymore---maybe a small purchase here and there to keep the account active. My DH did open a Disney Visa in his name a couple months ago but that was just to get the $200 Disney GC.

My understanding is you are entitled to one free 5x7 per day. So if you go to EPCOT 2 different days during your trip, you could go to the meet & greet both days and get a free 5x7 each time.

I was receiving those 5x or 3x offers every quarter for over a year, my last one just finished up August 15. Now I don't have any, so I'm not using those cards. I was receiving an offer before the last one even finished. Maybe if I stop using them, they will send me more so I will use them again.
