Disney Visa Rewards Card

Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'll give it a try. We both have the Disney Visa Rewards credit card. We are leaving on May 19 for our trip and wanted to know should we order the card by phone today or should we wait until we get down there to get the points card.

Has anyone ever had trouble getting the card while down there?

I ordered the card before I left and just went to DTD and added whatever points I had from the time I ordered my card until the when I arrived.

I don't know if they can issue you a card down there. Someone else may help you with that.

I always order my card before I leave home, that way I have my card before I leave for Disney. This pass trip I wanted more pts so I called the number on the card and the agent added the pts to my card over the phone.

It can take 2-3 weeks to get your initial card, so I would order it soon to be sure you have it. I find it easier to reload over the phone, don't want to waste precious vacation time doing it when it takes only minutes over the phone. Also, after I call and have the points transferred to my card, I like to go online to double check that the points really have been moved. This just gives me peace of mind knowing what I have to spend before leaving on vacation.

Be careful with this card. Chase can raise you interset rate to whatever they feel like. I had mine go up 4%. I was never late, never over my limit.
If Chase needs more money, they just raise your rate!
