Disney Visa Reward Dollars for park tickets?

We are going to the World in January and I have ordered my Disney Visa Rewards Card. On the website it says you can use the card anywhere in WDW, but I can't find out if you can use it to buy tickets on Disney.com? If I can't can I buy Disney gift cards and use them to buy the tickets? I'd like to get the cards soon so I can put them on MDE and get my FP+'s. If anyone has done this before please let me know.

Yes, you can use your rewards redemption card online to pay for your tickets.

I called Disney and ordered tickets to be attached to my room key. No problem at all. I just gave her the number on the redemption card.

Good to know! I think I'd like to get them now so I can put them on MDE and do my FP+. I'm getting 2 with the rewards card and 1 I'll have to pay for another way. Boy have those tickets gone up since we went last 5 years ago!

I have a somewhat related question:
We purchased a package (POFQ, two 6-day park hoppers and DDP). I see the PH's on MDE, and I have signed up for a MB, but I don't understand how I "link" them, since I don't have ticket #'s for the PH's...anyone have any insight on this?
