I booked our January trip with a travel agent who then booked the the reservation with Disney. Can I use my redemption cards towards payment of the trip? We purchased resort stay, tickets and dining plan.

It will depend on the TA, You're better off asking them than going by any answers you get here.

Probably. But PP is right, you need to ask your TA. Most TAs simply act as intermediary and the payment is done to Disney directly. However, some TAs have you pay the agency who then makes a lump payment to Disney for multiple clients. If your TA simply passes your payment (CC number, gift card, Redemption Card) along to Disney you’ll be fine. If you make payment TO the agency, you can’t use a Redemption Card.

I used my redemption card to pay for the stuff that I charged to my magic band while I was there, like dining and other purchases. If you don't have the dining plan, you could do that.

Thanks all! I checked with my TA and she had me provide the card numbers for the rewards cards to apply to our balance. We have enough to nearly cover our dining plan and we are still earning rewards before we go so we will use those on our bands.
