Has anyone ever used their DV to get a lower rate at FW? I already have a ressie but have considered getting the DV to get a lower rate ( I currently have the AAA rate). And, If you have gotten a DV rate is it really that much better???? TIA!

We used it and got 2 rooms for 7 nights at Pop Century for $1,000 so yes... it does save a ton of $$$$$!!!!!

I haven't used the Visa rate yet, but a CM told me the rate was similar to AP rates. They are also limited and are not out yet past 7/5/04. Waiting for both AP and visa rate to see which is lower.

We got the DV rate for both our May and June stays at FW. More fun times with the grandchildren.

I tried to get ressies for June at FW but nothing was available at the discount, the CM was VERY helpful and tried it every way she could to get me a discounted site.

So the DV discounted sites are limited just like AAA sites or other discount codes? I better get to work on my October and December and March '05 ressies!!!!

The impression that I got was that they were limited just like any other discount. Of course there was availability at full price.
She tried several other codes to see if she could get me a site on one of them. She seemed very knowledgable and went out of her way to try and make the ressies for me.

We have ressies for Aug with a AAA discount. I called yesterday to see if there were any campsite discounts for DV, CM checked but nothing for campsites -- he did say they had DV discounts for the cabins. It was worth checking anyway.
