Disney Visa questions

I am going to bring my Disney Visa to WDW. When we eat at the sit down restaurants in the park, do we have to tell them beforehand that we are paying with the Disney Visa to get the discount, or is the discount automatically taken when you give them the card?

I happen to have a Chase bank 1/2 a block away from my house. Can I drop off the payments there instead of having to mail them in? So convenient since I drive by Chase every day.

What discount are you talking about. I do not know of any food discount for using your Visa Credit card at WDW????

This is a new one to me too! I can say that using my Disney Visa in the past has not gotten me any discounts at Disney!

Same here! The only "perk" I have ever gotten at WDW with my Disney Visa is one free picture at Epcot, that's it.

We received 10% off our total purchase at a store in DTD. All we had to do is show them the card. We didn't even use it for our purchases.

Sorry, it was for Disneyland not WDW. I am going to WDW at the end of May, and Disneyland in October. I had read about the dining, but thought it was WDW as well. Here are the details:

At the Disneyland® Resort, dining offer excludes alcoholic beverages, merchandise, tax and gratuity. Discount valid at the following restaurant locations: in Disneyland® Park: Rancho del Zocalo, Carnation Cafe and Redd Rockett's Pizza Port; in Disney's California Adventure® Park: Pizza Oom Mow Mow, Wine Country Trattoria and The Vineyard Room; at Disneyland® Resort Hotels: Granville's Steak House (from 6:00pm - 10pm only), Yamabuki and Disney's PCH Grill. Subject to restaurant operating hours and restaurant closures. Restaurant seating is subject to availability.
