If I use a Disney Visa to book a vacation package, do I charge just the down payment or the whole package price when I book?

You can do either. I charged the initial $200 deposit upon booking and then the full amount just prior to the 45 day mark. It was 0% for amount, spread out over 6 months from when it was charged.

Hope that makes sense :)

You are only required to make a $200 deposit at time of booking. You will receive 6 months at 0% for that $200.
At 45 days prior to check in you are required to pay off the balance. You will receive 6 months at 0% for that amount.

What I do is make monthly payments. As long as each payment is at least $101, you'll get the 6 months 0% financing on each payment, which really helps spread the payments out.

Just wondering why each payment has to be at least $101? My 1st payment is coming due in a few days and my minimum payment is just $10. Since the only thing on the card is my $200 deposit I was hoping to just pay the minimum for now then pay off the rest of the deposit before I have to make my final payment. Really want the 0% though so if just paying the minimum is going to cost me interest I'll need to adjust my payment quick!

What I'm talking about is making payments toward the vacation package, not credit card payments. You have to put down a $200 deposit on a vacation package and then have the balance paid off by 45 days before your arrival date. What I do is, rather than wait until that 45 day mark to pay off the balance of my package in one rather large lump sum, I make monthly payments toward the balance of the package, which is very easy to do online. The minimum payment you have to make to get the 0% interest for 6 months on each payment is $101, which is simply Chase's requirement to get the rate.
