Disney Visa Online Approval

DH recieved an offer in the mail for the $200 gift card with the Disney Visa. He has applied before and was declined. However, our credit is much better now and we almost have all our credit cards payed off and 2 bank loans paid off. When he applied it said we'll find out in 10 days by mail. I think this means declined but was wondering if there's still a chance he'll get it. Oh, and the other credit card we have just upped our limit-not sure if that helps or not. Do most people that get the $200 offer get accepted? Thanks for any info!

We got the same offer. I was approved right away online. Dh was not, it said they'd let him know within 10 days. Lo and behold, yesterday he got his card!

I would love to get a Disney Visa, but I don't think my credit would allow it. Went thru a rough separation and custody issue about 6 years ago. Had a rough time with bills during that time and have been paying for it ever since.

Haven't had a late payment for years, but time doesn't move fast enough to get them removed...

I received the $200 gift card off in the mail sometime in late april early may. I applied online and received a response of I would be contacted in 10 days or so. I then received a letter 10 days later requesting proof of my physical address. I did not realize I had put in my P.O. Box instead of my physical address. So I mailed in a copy of my drivers license and I received my card in the mail today so I hope you get yours too.

Neither of us had Disney credit cards (although we already had a Chase credit card since that is our bank).

I already have a disney visa card but I got the $200 offer so if I apply for it but then get a letter stating I cant get it because I already have one. I have very good credit but if its denied for that reason not sure if it will show up as denied on creidt history.

No, it doesn't show on your credit report but it will take a few points. If you apply for to many things in a short period of time (6 months) it could bring down your FICO score.

I believe so. when I called about the gift card offer they said it is allowed most places at disney. But I wanted to use it to pay for my upcoming vacation package and they said I couldn't but I'm sure I'll find another use for the gift card

Either way, you can use it anywhere and everywhere. We used our rewards card at restaurants, gift shops, places in DTD, etc. We did not try to use it in Epcot's WS. Their restaurants operate differently than the rest of the WDW property (except for Yak and Yeti-another odd property when it comes to billing and such). So, if you want to use it in a restaurant in the WS, double check first.

Depends on the promo. Some are for $200 rewards points, others $200 statement credit, and others for a $200 Disney Gift Card.

You can use the Disney GC or the Disney Rewards card anywhere they take your KTTW.

Best option is to use it for ticket upgrades. We do our reservations 2 day base, and when I check in, I upgrade the tickets, using the rewards card.

If there's anything left, I go to the main desk the night before checkout and have them apply any remaining points to my balance.

Both times we have applied we were told on the spot we were approved. Once was by phone and one online. It might mean they just need to double check something. Good Luck I hope he was approved.

You get the offer by mail and the pin is attached to the person the promotion was send to.
