I didn't go looking for this offer, it came to my house and it was in our last name. Obviously, since I was a cardholder before Chase has all my personal information...i.e. address and S.S. number so they should have known that we were cardholders. If they didn't want me to get this offer they shouldn't have sent it to me in the first place. Bottom line, they have the last say and they could have denied us!!!!
I do not have my original offer in front of me so I can't comment on what it said. But if it were so important to them that this offer was only for new cardholders, they would have put that on the front of the letter in large bolded letters!

But bolded letters or not, when you signed up for the offer you agreed to the terms of service which clearly stated (whether or not you read it) that it was a one-time offer.
