Thinking about applying for the Disney Visa but I have heard that some people don't think it's worth it. What do you think?

I have it, and it's not doing much for me. I keep holding out, thinking maybe they'll up the ante someday.

compared to other reward cards it prety much sucks

But the Disney marketing team has put those package deals togther where you need your DISNEY Visa to book it

I was happy I had it when the recent room only codes came out for Florida residents/visa holders. Up until then nothing beat the FL residents rates. I got POFQ for $69.00 a night. If you're doing it for the rewards dollars it's not worth it unless you charge a lot on it, but I did have $24.00 to use on my last trip and every bit helps! The interest rate isn't that great so I wouldn't carry a balance! I'm hoping the discounts keep coming!:D

We run pretty much everything we can through our card & we've got $200 ready for our trip to Disneyland. Since we're not going for a few months, we'll probably have almost another $100 by then. Of course, the interest rate is very high - so we pay it off every month. We don't fly a lot, so frequent flier miles on other cards don't appeal to us.

The way I look at it is you get special discounts for Disney as well as get Disney Reward Dollars. Any other card would not give me Disney money.

We are planning to return to Disney so it will be a bonus to have reward dollars to spend!

We dont carry a balance on the card but its nice to charge to a card that does have some rewards. We go to Disney often and I enjoy having the reward dollars to spend. Secondly thanks to the card I got a good discount (almost as good as the AP discount) on our Poly room. The difference between the 2 discounts was about $9 per day.
