Disney VISA Free Movie Screening Question

Does anyone know if you have to show your Disney VISA to enter one of these free movie screenings? I just noticed that Pooh's Heffalump Movie is being offered during a weekend that my husband and I will be out of town (shhh, don't tell the kids, its an adult weekend at WDW). I thought that this would be perfect to give to the babysitter as a special treat for the kids while we are gone. Would she be able to get into the movie with our tickets if she doesn't have a Disney VISA?

Thanks! :flower:

My understanding is the tickets are mailed to you. I wouldn't think you have to show your card since you have tickets in hand.

This is the first time they are mailing tickets, so it's anybody's guess, but I'd guess you could give the tickets to your babysitter.

In the past, I went to the theater with my e-mail screening pass in hand and they did not ask to see any form of ID, let alone the Disney Visa. Other people attended the screening as well, not just Disney Visa holders. I'm still trying to figure out where their free passes -- which were printed on colored card stock by the way -- came from.

For National Treasure, the theater that it was showing at was very meticulous about checking to make sure you were supposed to be there. I did have to show them my Disney Visa and my ID to prove who I was. My family didn't need to show anything.

Previously we'd seen Haunted Mansion and one other movie (that I can't remember) at a different theater that only took your ticket and asked your name so they could check you off their list of ticketholders.

I think the cardholder really has to be there.

At National Treasure they even made us go through a metal detector??? I assume so you couldn't bring a video camera??? But they didn't make us show anything - even the email printout. They just said, "Are you here for the showing?" Then they scanned us with the metal detector.

Oops, should have read further down the list, I just found it on the Visa Website! :flower: Unfortunately, it's not for my city :sad2:

Good luck to everyone else!
