Do I (the card holder) have to be in it? I'll be with a group but really don't need any more pictures of myself! Can we all stand in line and then me opt out of the picture itself?

Thanks,

Jennifer

I'm pretty sure you just have to be there in the line when they look at your card. You can even just go into the meet and greet and just not pose with the group.

No, you don't need to be in the photos. My Dad is a Disney Visa cardholder, and last year was the first time we did the photos. Dad, Mom, Myself, DH and our daughter and Nephew all went back there, but only DD and nephew were in the pictures.

It was a great time, with great interaction. I would highly recommend doing it.

Where do we go for these pictures?

The meet and greet location is in the Innovations building that is on the right of the Epocot ball when walking in. To pick up your free picture, you have to go to the Photo place located right by the Spaceship Earth entrance. You have to pick up the picture that day.

Also, if you go to Epcot more than once during your trip, you can get a free picture each day you're there! We got 3 different ones last year.

We have done this meet and greet several times and I (the cardholder) have NEVER been in the photo. We send my daughter to the characters by herself. (She tends to interact more if she goes up to the characters on her own.) You (the OP) should have no problems opting out of being in the picture.

Poohbear5, there is a PhotoPass photographer there in the room, so make sure you get out your PhotoPass card when you are getting out your VISA to get into the meet and greet. Any photos taken by the PhotoPass photographer there will show up in your PhotoPass account and will go on your CD if you buy one.

girli565, the VISA meet and greet is every day at Innoventions West in Epcot, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. I always used to get Innoventions West and East mixed up until I found a way to remember which side is which. Innoventions West is the side that's closer to The Land, which houses Soarin', which is set in California, or the *west*. Now that I remember Soarin'-California-West-Innoventions West, I never forget which side to head to in order to get to the VISA meet and greet.

Inside Innoventions West, you head to the side where the fire truck is, take the path past the fire truck, and look along the wall there. You'll see a queue setup there.

We have yet to take advantage of this. :( Every time we go, the line is SOOOOO long.

Last time we were there the CM told me that if both my DH and I had our cards she could give us 2 free photo vouchers. It's one per person who has a card. (Even if both your credit card #'s are the same!) :thumbsup2

Unfortunately, I didn't know this and didn't want the worry of carrying my credit card around all day. We only had DH's card card with us. :confused3
