Disney visa discount with MB?

If I have my Disney visa linked to my magic band do I still get the discounts where available? Or do they need to see the card. ?

They need to see the card, and additionally, you have to use the card for the FULL purchase to get the discount (can't use a Disney GC as a partial payment).

I'm assuming that also means that the Disney Visa discount wouldn't work using google pay? Just started to look for this info and couldn't find out if it worked or not.

Yes and I always have my card, but I don't find that many discounts are actually available. I know I got a discount when using my card to make horseback riding reservations. I got a discount when we bought over $50 of souvenirs at the Poly gift shop. I think that's all I have been able to use it for. I thought I would have gotten more discounts, but that's about it for my spending habits. Oh, and there is the special photo op at Epcot, I think, that is only for Disney Visa Card holders, but I don't think I have been able to drag DD into to that yet.

Special photo op at Epcot and also Hollywood Studios. Must have card, different times for both. Card be present. Different dining discount at SPECIFIC locations.
