Disney Visa discount questions...

Hi everyone, I recently became a Disney Visa card holder. I figured we go so much why not benefit from it. I know some of the discounts are released to Disney Visa Card holders before the general public. I was just wondering how you find out? Do you get an email? I didn't know if there was somewhere you needed to check, like on their website. Thank you for any replies!

Some people get emails. I've never gotten one and usually get the news here first.

Email. On this most recent deal, I found out here in the morning the first day it was posted and had my vaca booked for about 4 hours before I got the Visa email.

I get mine through email. Usually about WDW vacation packages/sales and upgrading my basic visa to a premier.

After reading many threads about PIN codes (I didn't know what they were) I decided to call Disney to ask if I had one attached to my name. To my surprise, I had 2!

I've had my card for a couple of years & have never gotten an email about room discounts, etc. The only ones I've gotten are for the early shopping online at Disneystore. So strange! I usually find out about the room discounts here on the DIS.

I get emails, but I also find it on their site. You will probably be tipped off on DIS first though.

If you go to your chase.com/disney account
sign in
click on the blue "my accounts" tab at the top
There is a blue box right under your name that says "Check our the latest Cardmember offers today"
I check there every day. Normally, I will see the offers there if I haven't already seen them on DisBoards.

I get an email. We also get a brochure every few months, it seems, that lets us know about upcoming deals with our Visa.

Sometimes Special Packages or deals become available to Disney Visa holders before the General Public (like Free Dining). Can anyone tell me if those special deals are for Premier Card holders only, or for the basic Disney Visa cards as well?
