Disney VISA discount packages thru December

I called and they told me that Thanksgiving week was blacked out. Suggestions on what I should try?

I see we will be at CSR at the same time cause I just switched my ressie from Pop to CSR. They told me that it didn't apply that week at Pop. My option was to either stay at Pop and pay $1300 for a meal plan (we are 7 people) or upgrade to CSR with the meal plan for the same $1300 price difference, or stay at Pop with no meal plan. Do you mind if I ask you some questions about CSR?

1- What's the differences between the sections, which do you recommened?

2- Is there a food court and what's the cuisine?

The main differences between the sections are the distance from El Centro and the theming. We loved the Cabanas (building 8A) and it was wonderful. Close to the main pool, close to the bus stop, a little walk to El Centro, but not too bad.

The food court is the Pepper Market. It is different than any other food court and a little more expensive. But we loved that it was different and we could get different food besides hamburgers and hot dogs. Most combo meals are big enough to share so keep that in mind. There is also a little place by the main pool that sells hot dogs, nachos, fries, etc. and will refill your mug.

According to mousesavers the discount is only available for check-in dates 9/30/07-11/19/07, 11/24/07-11/28/07 and 12/8/07-12/23/07. HTH.

I just called, we have a AAA rate for two nights 11-16 to 11-18 at POFQ, the "package" applies to a minimum 3 might stay hope it helps you guys.

I called today & asked if I could save for in-laws ressie (they are on with our group ressie, they booked after we did, we got a discount earlier!)

I was able to save them $339.00 on & room/tickets package for Oct. 21-27, POP Century! This was for 2 adults + 1 13 yr old!

Hi! I was able to apply/get instant approval for the Disney Visa today and i got a $480 discount on our package! My AAA agent wasn't able to get it for me but i was able to book a new ressie online and then they applied the discount with my brand new Disney Visa account! The AAA agent was super nice but in the end she couldn't save me any $. AAA is going to get me a refund of my original $200 dep or have disney apply it to my new ressie! Yea Disney Visa!

I tried for Nov.15-24 at the Contemporary. Miles said he only had availability at the Yacht Club. I didn't even have him price it because my family wants to be at a monorail resort.

I just called and got my reservation changed to a package using the new code. We arrive the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and I had no trouble getting the new code on my reservation. I guess I got lucky when I called.

It saved me over $300. Hooray!

Just called again. Still no luck all they have is ALLSTAR Sport. Not what are looking for. We have ressies and POP. Will try again later tonight and in the morning to see if i get lucky.
Can save $300 by switching but have not heard good things about transpo. at Allstar Sports.

I got an e-mail as a Disney Visa card holder. It stated that the code was available starting today for Disney Visa card holders and would open up to the general public on 8/16. Reservations made between now and through 8/15 must be booked with a deposit using your Disney Visa (according to the e-mail).

Must be booked between 8/3 and 9/26.

Valid for the following dates:
9/30 - 11/19
11/24 - 11/28
12/8 - 12/23

$362 per adult for 6 day 5 night value resort with park admission

Congrats to all those who can use this. Here's hoping for a January deal for me!

I got the discount at POP 2 rooms for Oct 19th -26th. w/7day hoppers for family of 5, 4Ad , 1Ch $2067.45 . I had to put my last night a room only AAA rate on the 26th- 27th for some reason that night was not available. WOO HOO. The rooms ended up being about $55 a night each. Great deal. I will keep calling to see if I can get my last night added on to the deal.

I just got a quote for November 17-23, CSR. 2A1J1C, 7 day hoppers and Dining. Rack is $3222.20. With code is $2702.38

We used the code and saved right under $500.00 for 11/18-11/24 with the dining plan. We had to change from POR to CSR, but no biggie....

My in-laws called and got someone who kept telling them they did not qualify for the same discount. They actually had to demand that the CM speak with someone else to verify this. In the end, they were eligible for the same discount. Not all CM's are aware of these codes and their discounts

I would call again if I were you...

We are staying Dec 10-15 at POFQ. We got the package, with dining for $1,207.00!! We are very pleased with this discount.

Just kept my existing POR dates and switched from room only to a package with 5 day base tickets with disney reward card and saved $375 off of rack rate!!!

I believe the bottom line discount ends up being 40% off the room rates.
