Disney VISA discount packages thru December

Quoted $1,860. for 2A at CSR, 12/8 - 12/15; 8 Day PH with Dining. Not too bad.

Now I have to decide if I want to get rid of my AKV studio reservation for 12/9 - 12/15. Will save only about $50. total., but I have begun to dread sleeping on a pullout sofa all week. Plus, I have stayed at AKL before, but not at CSR. Also, with CSR 1) we would not have to change resorts after the first night, 2) get maid service all week, 3) I get a regular bed and 4) one more night of the DDP. So the $50. savings really isn't all the benefit to it.

What would you all do? :confused3

Sounds like CSR will work out well for you - have you wanted to try that resort anyway?

Did the CM happen to mention a special internet rate for CSR? A previous poster mentioned this, but did not know the details.

Wondering if anyone else had heard anything more:flower3: Thanks!

Good luck on your decision! Sounds like you cannot go wrong!

Y'all are awesome!!!

Called Disney and got a five night stay @ FW Cabins and saved $275. Got the 6 Day Magic Your Way w/ Dining for a fam of four there for about $2450. Dec 16th-Dec 21st.

Now if only Mr. FFerret can get those days off....

C/mon, Pixie Dust...

No. I called before the post you are mentioning. It certainly has intrigued me though. I have investigated a little, but with no luck. I haven't called Disney back because I suspect any CM I would get would not know what I was talking about. Wonder when the poster who mentioned that was going?

My reservation is for Nov 17 - 23, and yes, the discount applied to my reservation. I had to change resorts from PO-FQ to Coronado Springs.

Just saved $501.00. We'll be at POR from 11/24 to 12/01. I called my TA with the Visa code and she called back with the information I needed to make it happen. Just put a $200.00 deposit with my credit card and nothing changed but the amount I owed, which was $501.00 cheaper. Boy, will my DH be thrilled. Now my trip is almost paid off!

well, looks like I'm moving on up. Was going to be at POP from 12/8-12/15, for 300 bucks total going to be at CSR now. Heck I thknk the coffee maker and fridge are worth that almost :)

So while I didnt 'save' any money, I think that's still a good deal!

Just booked: DD's Birthday trip with Grandma and Grandpa

All Star Music standard room(only it and Sports were offered)
Nov. 27 - Dec 2
2 adults 1 child 6 day park hopper tickets
$1034.28
:thumbsup2 a savings of $186.50
Now if they would just take me too!

we are going the week of 12/20-12/28. I did not find the code on the internet but when I asked the CM about any other discounts (since the disney visa didnt help me because I have AP) she brought up the CSR. She referred to it as an "internet special" and she knew I didnt need tickets. Sorry to post something and not know all the details just though if people were calling anyway they might ask about this. :)

For those curious about the amounts, values seem to get the best deal on this.
Last year we got this discount for POP in October and it worked out to a 50% discount on the room!!! Took almost $500 off our total that we already had reserved, they just redid it.

We probably looked for the same info - nothing comes up. Have searched on Disney site and did a google search, but so far nada.

Maybe we'll hear more later:confused3

Is the CSR only for Disney Visa?

No one seems to have been able to find any more info about this, so unfortunately cannot answet that question for you! Sorry! :flower3:

11/17 - 11/24, 2 adults, 1 child, 5 day hoppers, dining plan

They didn't have anything at POP available, so I upgraded to CSR and saved $4!:cool1: :rolleyes1

Had my original reservation been for CSR, I would have saved $519 with the Visa discount, so I will just keep telling myself I saved $500 and that makes it all better!

Sounds like CSR was pretty empty or something since that's where a lot of us are upgrading to. Stayed at CSR last October and loved it!

I see we will be at CSR at the same time cause I just switched my ressie from Pop to CSR. They told me that it didn't apply that week at Pop. My option was to either stay at Pop and pay $1300 for a meal plan (we are 7 people) or upgrade to CSR with the meal plan for the same $1300 price difference, or stay at Pop with no meal plan. Do you mind if I ask you some questions about CSR?

1- What's the differences between the sections, which do you recommened?

2- Is there a food court and what's the cuisine?

Thanks for any help.

I was told this morning (2 hours ago) that nothing was available at the WL for our Dec 10-17 trip. Just got of the phone again and I WAS able to get a courtyard view for Dec 10-17. I am thrilled. I went from a woods/bunkbed view to a courtyard view with 2 queens and saved $290! New amount is $4080.22 for 2 A and 2 15 year olds, MYW hoppers plus water, dining, no ins. Thanks to all who posted to give the "heads up" on the Visa deals! :yay: :thumbsup2 :goodvibes :cloud9: :woohoo: :cheer2:  :santa: :flower3:

Dec 17-28th Pop, 10 day MYW+ tickets, DDP

Before code $3497
After code $3449

I saved $48

CM did mention that this code was 'date specific' and could tell me very little else.

Here are the dates Mousavers gives: 9/30/07-11/19/07, 11/24/07-11/28/07 and 12/8/07-12/23/07.
