Disney Visa Discount Codes

Do you have to book your trip with the Disney Visa to get the VISA Discount if a code is offered, or just a card holder? My trip is paid for already, but I am looking for a discount code to apply to my trip in October.

I'm looking into this right now, I got an email code for my August trip and I plan to book my room tomorrow, but I'm not sure I'll use my Disney visa. I'm going to use my Disney rewards dollars for part of it because I read in the email you could do that.
