Just for fun,
Which Disney Visa card design did you choose and why?

I'm switching to Toy Story because my boy sleeps with Woody and Bullseye every night. I used to have Finding Nemo because it's my favorite Pixar movie.

I have the Castle bc I'm a princess. DH has one of the Mickey ones bc its Disney without being too childish when he uses it for work.

I had the classic red card with the big outline of the Mickey head because that's all that was available when the card was introduced in 2003. I switched to the castle card a few years ago when the new designs came out.

Does anybody have DVC member written on theirs? I thought I read where this was an option they could add.

I have two...

My primary one is Ariel and my secondary one is Tink.

DH has the Toy Story one since there was no way he was going to use a card with Ariel on it:laughing:.

I have the original design, red with mickey head outline. It also says, "Member since DAY 1". :thumbsup2

I have an account, and my husband has an account. So we have 4 cards total. My card on my account is Tink; my card on his account is the castle. His card on his account is Vintage Mickey; his card on my account is the red one with the Mickey head outline.

We also have two: Our primary is Mickey and friends and has Disney Vacation Club listed under the name. The other is Toy Story with Charter Cardmember under the name.

When using our primary card, DH like to tell folks that his friends are paying.

I didn't know I could have DVC member listed under my name. Any perks for doing this?

I have the Sleeping Beauty Castle from Disneyland with "50 years" in the center and a blue banner at the bottom that says "Happiest Celebration". I switched to it in 2005 when DS was a CM out there for the big celebration.

It is possible to have "DVC Member" printed under your name. My card currently says "Charter Cardmember" under my name and it is not possible to have both. There is not enough room (I asked the last time I replaced my card).

I've got the Toy Story one... I've had a few people say good commenst about the card when I've used it.

Y-ASK

When I ordered ours they told me that we both had to have the same design, so of course I ordered Tink!!! I think now I can order another design for my DH, but having Tink on it keeps him from using it too much so I haven't order him another one yet!:rotfl:

That's funny!
I just called and they are sending me new cards with DVC member written on it :goodvibes

On an off topic, I find the reps at the Chase Disney Visa customer service to be extremely friendly. They always strike up a conversation about the parks or hotels.

My Finding Nemo card wins over all the girls. They all tell me it is the cutest card they've ever seen.

I had a friend in college who ordered a credit card with a big Canadian flag on it. I asked him why because I knew he grew up in Pittsburgh. He said, "whenever a Canadian chick sees my card, I get a number.":cool2:

I can't remember for sure, because it's some time ago, but I believe there was only one "choice" when the cards were first issued - all red with a red Mickey outline and and small cross-like stars. We were among the first to apply for the card, and it has Day 1, as well as Disney Vacation Club embossed on it. It's rewards are not as good as my Costco Amex card, but I still like to use it to get my "reward dollars" every few trips.:cool1:

I have the same card. Kept it since that design is no longer avail to new cards that sign up, and the trip to DL that 50th Anniversary year was when DH and I got together.

Me too. I like the castle because cinderella was always my favorite classic fairy tale. I just love those mice to and the scenes with the fairy godmother. Grew up watching the classic Rogers and Hamerstein version.
