There is a calendar on the webpage indiciating which nights have the deal. $6 may not sound like much, but it saves a family of four $25, which would buy a nice snack and drink while the kids ToT.

Yes! This happens every year. Disney Visa holders were able to pre-order the MHP tickets, along with AP holders and DVC members, back in May, for the discounted rate! The tickets went on sale to the general public in July. But you can still get the discount just by buying in advance with any of those cards/memberships.

Ok does anyone know for sure when MHP starts? The Disney Visa site says it starts on September 17th and the actual Disney site says it starts on the 30th. We are going to be there from 27-29 and can't change the dates. Is there a party on one of those nights??

Never mind. I just noticed they have the last day of September added to the October calendar. Bummer.

I guess you haven't been following along on the Halloween Superthread or the MHP check-in thread - we've been talking about it for months!

The Halloween Time season begins on 9/16 this year (it began on 9/17 last year). But the Halloween party itself begins on 9/30 this year. If you are there on 9/27 - 9/29, you will miss the actual Halloween party but you will get to see all the other Halloween/seasonal stuff.

Every year? That would be awesome for 2012! I just got my Visa in late June, so I missed the early sale back in May, I guess. That's such a great perk, to get tickets early, for people like me who *know* we're going in In Oct. And my kids are so young (7 and under) that the Tuesday parties, which start an hour earlier, are preferred by me.

Sherry I only found out about the possibility of a DL trip about 2 weeks ago. I try not to come to the disboards unless I at least have a chance of going to Disneyland. Otherwise I just get sad. I'll be here until the trip and probably a while after and then have to distance myself from my obsession but for now . . . I can indulge as much as I want!



PS I did see the thread but when I wanted to look at it I couldn't see it for some reason. I wish there was a way to search just the DL forums.

I completely know what you mean - when there is no trip on the horizon for a while, it can be depressing to be on the boards! I've been through that.

There is a way to search just this Disneyland forum on the DIS, and the Search function used to work well, but something happened to it recently and it's not working like it used to. I used to be able to find whatever I needed by searching individual threads, searching the DL forum itself, etc. - and now it's not working properly. I think that, possibly, there has been some maintenance work done on the DIS recently and that could have something to do with it.
