Are they still offering the $50 credit if you pay with the Disney visa? IF so, how do you make sure you receive the credit when you book online? Thanks!
Oh...and can it be combined with the $25 online credit?

Yes, it can be combined and there is a code to add to your reservation for the Visa credit. My TA knows what it is, so I don't have to look it u, but it is on the Disney VIOsa Chase website.

Bump

I looked on the chase disney visa site and found no code - I recently booked with my disney visa but all I got was a $25 on board credit. If someone knows the code let us know!

The code appears to be DCC but I cannot find anywhere to submit it on my existing reservation. I have already paid my deposit but am not paid in full. Any help would be so appreciated!

I understood that you had to use it to pay the balance too. So you wouldn't get the credit at booking. I didn't see at code on the web site either. My TA is taking care of it for me too.

So I will not be able to receive it until I am paid in full? That makes sense. So I wonder how I will request it at that point?
Thanks.....

Yes what you need to do though is call DCL and let them know that your res needs to be booked with booking code DCC. They will add it to the reservation and then once the full amount if paid, it should appread. I am in the same boat that you are and this is what I had to do.

Good luck!

And calling them to have them do it doesn't negate the $25 online credit? Thanks for the help.

Nope it should'nt just let them know that you booked it on line and could not find the code for the Visa Card and want to make sure that it is added in addtion to the $25.00 credit!

We sailed in December and booked online. I called DCL to be sure the booking code DCC was noted b/c I was paying with my Disney Visa. We got both the $50 OBC for using the Visa and the $25 OBC for booking online. :thumbsup2

Just as an fyi, the last time I checked the $50 on board credit was only for the 2010 cruises. I booked on board last year and didn't use my Disney Visa but was told by my TA that if the offer is extended to 2011, I could transfer my deposit to my Disney visa and pay the reminding balance with the card. I don't know if the offer was extended to 2011 yet.

I know the Disney Rewards Redemption card has an expiration date. How far in advance of your trip do you usually get it?

Our first time with the Disney Visa card and have quite a few reward dollars saved up.

I rebooked on board last year and inquired then of the representative about getting the Disney Visa OBC and the $100.00 that disney was offering and was told you had to choose one or the other but could not have both. So I don't know if it is different by booking online. I chosethe Disney one since it was higher.

To answer the expiration date question, I got my rewards card in Jan/Feb of 2009 and it expires Dec. 2010. So they are good for a while.

i booked on 3/20 for the 5/26 cruise, paid in full on my disney visa. is there any way i can add this now??? I didn't know of it back then and I had looked at the disney visa website before booking to see if there were any promotions like this. Anyone know??

Call DCL or your TA and make sure it is there.

I booked a cruise for 2011 a couple of days ago and got the DV credit.

The disney rewards cards are only good for 1 year. So if you get in in December of 2010, it expires at the end of 2010. So you need to be very carefull when ordering. I am using my remaining dollors to put towards my cruise to make it feelm like some extra pixie dust came my way!

Have a wonderful cruise all!
