I'm interested in doing this and was wondering had done it and what's your experience? Ie what times offered, what characters, wait times, location....

We do this every year and love it! You usually get 2-3 of the fab five but they don't let you know who it is, you find out when you go thru the curtain. (love the surprise of it!!). Not sure of the times so ask guest relations as soon as you get to epcot bc the line in Innovations can be LONG for it. ( i say get in line at least 45 mins before it starts) Don't forget to use the voucher they give you while in line that day to pick up the free photo at the photo shop by spaceship earth. The voucher is only good for that day.

I have done this several times. The location is at Innoventions West in Epcot. The times are 1pm-4pm (or 1:30-4:30pm). The characters change. I believe there are always 2. I've had Mickey and Pluto twice and Mickey, Minnie and Goofy once. It was a good experience overall. If you go right when they open the line can be long. But if you wait until like 2 or 3 the line is short. Maybe 10 min. It can be annoying to have to stop to pick up your picture on the way out, but hey, it's FREE!

I have also noticed that the lighing in the room isn't great. Doesn't make for the best quality picture. But again.... it's FREE!!

Just the thread I needed! I was wondering myself. Thanks for the info!

When we have done it we have shown up and either walked right in or only had one family in front of us. But we have never gone right when it opens and travel during slow times of the year.

Compared to the Character spot in Epcot are the lines longer, shorter or about the same?

Haven't done it yet (DH forgot the FDisney Visa at home on our last trip!) but plan to do it this time. I know I scoped out the lines last time I was there and there were always about 20 families in line.

We needed to show our Disney Visa Card.

they were changing characters there-- and since we did not see Minnie and goofy we were wisphering---minnie and goofy minnie and goofy with our fingers crossed in the air...

went in-- and there they were-- whoooo hooo.

GD grabbed minnies hands and were dancing and dancing.

we left and she says to PopPop-- I felt a ladies hand in minnies glove
poppop says-- thats because minnie IS a lady. whew-

We always go the last hour and hardly ever have to wait. The line is huge when it first opens.

Is there a limit on how many photos you can get?

My husband and I both carry Disney debit cards and credit cards. Will they let us get 4? It would be a cute favor for grandparents back home.

It seems like the voucher for the free pic is just one per family, you could purchase more like any Photopass pic. They will also let you take your own pictures as well.

Both times we went (two adults) it was a blast, once Mickey, Minnie and Goofy, the other time just Minnie and Goofy, and Minnie was REAL flirty... when Mickey is away.... :cool1:

Here is a picture we got on our camera. We died laughing, Minnie behaved and let us take another "real" picture, and in the end, we like this one much more.

One voucher per card (assuming they have a different number) per day.

We have done this many times since 2009. It is usually Mickey & Goofy, Minnie & Goofy or Pluto and Goofy.

I have 3 Disney Visa Chase cards and I get 3 vouchers per each day I visit EPCOT and do the pictures!

We do this each trip. Agree with other posters, if you go when it first opens it will be busy. Last trip in June we went about 3 and had no wait at all, we then walked around and withing 30 min. went and picked up the picture. We are leaving in two weeks and will be doing it again.

This is a great perk for having DVisa! We went twice on our last trip and had Mickey/Pluto one time and Mickey/Goofy the other.

We went later as well and had a very short wait - maybe 15 minutes.

Just wanted to note that it's one per account (not per card) per day.

DH & I both have a card, but they're the same account.

When we have travelled with relatives we were able to get as many vouchers as we had different accounts. You can use each voucher to get a different photo (they take several shots especially if you have kids) or you can get multiple copies of your favorite.

Do the photos taken here end up on the Photopass card? And I assume they take several pics so you have a choice of free one?
