Disney Visa character greets

Can anyone give me info aobut the Character greet for Disney Visa holders. Is it separate from other guests or just like a fastpass to get in to see the characters ahead of them? I think they say its in the Innovations West area - is that different from the other spot? I have no idea which is east and which is west LOL

It's in a pavilion going towards the Land. There is a line for the characters for Chase card holders. We went in there last summer but the line was too long for us. We had waited in enough character lines at that point. I didn't see the characters to know what kind of costumes they had on.

What was fun, inside there, though, was the Great Piggy Bank Adventure. My 7 year old and my 8 year old niece thought that was awesome!

The Disney Visa character meet and greet is in West - and it is labeled Innoventions West. It is towards the back. You will see a curtain and a CM standing outside. You line up and they sign you in. You will need to have your Visa card. One family at a time you go in to meet the characters. We love to do this. You get a quiet time with the characters with no one else around. They have a photopass (at the time) photographer inside or they will use your camera. The last time we were there it was from 1pm - 7pm. I would check the times when you go.

It is totally separate from the Character Spot. It is only for Disney Visa holders. It is usually 2 or 3 of the Fab 5. My avatar is a pic from it. You also get a free 5x7.

We do this all of the time. If you are there by 1...it usually isn't that long of a wait. Love the personal time with the characters and the free picture.

Totally worth it...

My plan is to go there right after my lunch at Coral Reef so I should get there right at 1pm or before. Just wasnt exactly sure where it was.

I guess if i ask a CM they should know where it is if I get to the wrong one.

The visa card meet and greet is in innovations west, in the back and not well marked.

The character spot is well marked.

Both are good meet and greets. Both are good meet and greets though, the visa one you never know what character(s) you will get. It changes often. Character spot on the other hand is the fab 4.

innoventions west, like others said. well marked.

we went at nearly 7pm, there was no wait and the characters seemed bored. we ended up having an impromptu dance party. me,DF, Mickey, and Goofy!

I think the peak busy time is in the afternoon, I would guess it is the worse around 2-3pm. There can be a modestly long line at that time.

I recommend going later in the day. After 5pm, you are unlikely to find more than a few people in line and there may be nobody.

We got to the Visa character spot after 6pm on a Saturday night in January and there wasn't anyone in line. We got our picture taken with Mickey and Goofy and had a great time. We stopped at the photo shop to pick up our free 5 x 7 and the CM did a great job helping us pick out the best shot and even adding a border for us. It was the first time we had done it and it was so much fun, I wish we had taken these pictures on every trip.

The 5 x 7 print is free, which is nice, but I also bought a digital download because I liked the pictures.
