Does Chase still allow you to hold both the non fee and the premier Disney card at the same time?
Trying to rack up some points for next year's trip and wondering if I should upgrade my current card or apply for the premier card.

I have the upgraded one which DOES pay off for us, my three biggest spending categories are the three 2% categories. If you're saying to open the other card to get an additional bonus... I doubt it. When I upgraded it was just an upgrade and no bonus, but I did get 1 year without the fee. I doubt they'd let you get the bonus again, but without the bonus there's no perk besides just upgrading for the 2%.

When I signed up years ago, the bonus was only $20!
Times have changed!
I would like to get the 2 percent categories so guess I will have to call and ask about the upgrade.
They used to have quarterly bonus categories but did away with that when the premier card was introduced.

You can hold both. In fact my husband and I have individual accounts on the basic version and then a joint premier account. I felt the premier was worth it because we charge everything to a CC and pay the bill each month, in an effort to rack up points. However, as our travel "needs" are changing (aka, wanting to do other trips besides Disney), we have shifted to a Capital One Venture card and now I need to decide if I want to keep my Disney Premier card and pay that annual fee, or close it.

I have it... It made sense the years we did a decent amount of cruising or bought our DVC... If you can use the Disney Bundle Credits the annual fee covers itself.

I wish the card were more compelling, but clearly Disney and Chase see not enough reason to do so... Still, the ease of 2% on all Disney purchases is nice...

Hoping to add to this discussion! Does the card offer a discount when you use it to pay the bill at a Disney restaurant -- even though we have used another discount like DVC? Or is it a statement credit? Thank you

At the locations it is valid it is a discount like AP/DVC/CC, etc.

2% back is on the card with AF, correct?
