I just applied for the Disney Visa Card by Chase and they said I would get a response in 10-30 days. I hope I haven't waited to long to do this. From reading on these boards I have noticed that if the DDP is offered free that it may be made known to the Disney Visa Cardholders several days earlier than the general public. I was just wondering how many days earlier might it be?, is there a certain amount of time that you need to be a cardholder for (b/c if I do get accepted, I'll have only had it for like a month or so)? and how do they notify cardholders that the offer has started? (phone call, email, letter..etc)
Sorry to be asking so many questions but I know there are experts on here regarding the card. I know that you can collect disney rewards dollars. After you have collected a sufficient amount worth using I have heard there is some kind of process you must go through to call up and say you want your reward dollars transferred to like a disney reward card...which can be used just like a debit for however many dollars you have saved up. What do you have to do to get it transferred and does it take a long time for them to get you that card. I am hopefully gonna be at the World in mid-late Sept. and was wondering if I will have time to get the card, charge the trip to it and whatever else, and then take the dollars I have racked up and get them on a card that can be used to take either money off the trip or pay for some food or other things at WDW.
