Disney Visa Airline Travel rewards

Hello all,

I have a standard Disney Visa. I understand there is an airline travel reward for premier members. Can someone explain to me how that works? I tried reading through the legal jargon on the website, but am not getting it. If it works for us, we may upgrade to the premier membership.

I used mine for some travel last summer. Your award dollars can be redeemed for a statement credit. You have to purchase the tickets on your Disney visa and then you can redeem them (I think it needs to be within 60 days of purchasing the airline tickets) for any amount up to the full price of the tickets.

I see that there is a southwest Visa in which you get a $200 credit, but have to pay a $69 fee. That may be even better.

There is a Southwest Visa with a sign up bonus of 50,000 points which translates to roughly $750.00. There is a $69 fee and you must charge $2000 the first 3 months. Worked well for us. The 4 of us will be flying for free in November.
