Disney Visa 7 for 4 deal??

I just spoke with wdw cro and bank one.

I gave the code zxra to cro, and they said that was for new accounts. Our current DV account was opened last year to replace our DC membership(DV not current enough for discount).

Then I spoke to bank one and they suggested I open another account to get the discount.

My question..HAS ANYONE DONE THIS??.

I've heard they won't allow a duplicate account. I'm really kind of ticked off, because what good is this piece of plastic I got last year good for??? OOOH, a figurine, a pin, baby PJ's, or 10 disney dollars if I charge $10,000 on my DV, whoopee!!

Oh well, still waiting for codes for July.

I should understand. I was a Disney club member for 5 years and used the 15% discount once, during peak season. I did enjoy the disney magazine, though.

Try code CTV. That is the one listed on mousesavers.com for Disney visa holders. We tried it but could not get the room we wanted for the dates we were going to be there. Jay

Others have posted that they had their spouse apply for a new card or that they themselves applied (I guess cancelling their original card?). The key is that you have to apply by 3/31 in order to be eligible for the deal, so you need to decide if that is something you want to pursue. The room only DV rate is pretty good (just alittle higher than an AP rate); maybe that would be a better choice for you, depending on when in July you plan to travel (I think the DV room only is good thru 7/4/04)

That is what I'm kinda waiting for. I expect codes for July will come out near the end of April. I was disapointed that last year we couldn't take advantage of the 7/4 deal offered to all(due to work, ds baseball, & dd band camp, ect.).

Jay the ctv code, I think, is good thru July 4.

I applied again and received another card so we have two and I qualified for the 7/4 deal.

ok we just applied the other day have not heard yet, but I called and asked bankone if we were approved would we qualify and were told no if we did not get the mailer and apply under that we did would not qualify whenever we applied.
So if anyone else without the offer applied and got it let me know and the code you used,.

I applied and qualified for the deal and I didn't get the special mailing for this offer. I just called CRO and they called Bank One to verify that I was eligible.
