Disney Visa $200 gift card

We got a Disney visa card 2 years ago and got a $15 gift card for signing up. I've got about 300 rewards on that card currently.

We just got an offer addressed to the "Smith Family" for the $200 gc offer. The first card is under my ss#. Can my hubbie apply for the current offer under his ss#?
He is currently listed as a second person on my card, wasn't sure if that would make him ineligible.

MMmm... that $200 gift card would almost buy one park ticket!

Same situation here and when I called to ask rep said yes he could get his own card. We didn't go through with it since we just paid off all of our cards and still don't trust ourselves!!!! BUT, the $200 would have been REALLY nice!!!

Pretty much you can have three card accounts per household. One joint, and one for each person on the joint account as separate card holders.

My husband and I each applied and were approved separately for the $200 Disney Visa GC offer. I just got my reward card this week in fact. It took a couple days after the 1st billing cycle ended to have it show up in my account. We have a total of 5 Disney Visas with only one being joint. We have had several other Disney Visas in the past which we cancelled when better offers came out. I will probably cancel this one as soon as I use the gift card and wait for the next good promotion. We do the same thing with South West credit cards and their offers. We apply, get the reward and cancel. We've never been declined and end up on the winning end all the time for great promotions.

I saw on a different post, that some Visa card users get offered 5x rewards IF their account is not used for a bit. Maybe we'll use his for a few months, and see if we get 5x offer on mine!

I applied online, and I have great credit, and got a letter yesterday that my card was denied due to late or overdue payments and that I can check experian for the report. I got my report, and every single one of my cards said "never late". I called a number I found online for Chase card reconsiderations, and the person I spoke to said that yes, they must have made a mistake, and I do qualify for the card, and they are sending it right out.

My question is - it says you get the $200 gift card after the first purchase. We are going to Disney World in August. If I make the purchase as soon as I get the card, am I going to have enough time to see the gift card on my statement and request that the card be sent to me? I would like to use it towards the deposit which is due June 27th. If not, I would want to use it to pay towards charges to the room (since the room, food and tickets will already have been paid for before leaving home).

Do you (or anyone else) have the phone number to call for this offer??? I got one in the mail last week or the week before and thought there had to be a catch. I later found that there was no catch! We are going in September and this would be great to have. I called the regular phone number and he said that he couldn't help me out that I had to call the number in that offer. Argh! He said they would be able to look up the offer in my name, but I needed to call that number.

Any help would be appreciated!

It's doubtful you would have it before June 27th unless your closing date is within days from now. However, you should be able to get it sometime during July. It should be on the first statement after you make your first charge with the card.

The other person I sent it to called and they could not help her without her invitation number. Unfortunately, they were not able to look it up by her name even though she had received the offer (just threw it away without thinking). Sorry, it won't do any good for me to post the number if you haven't received your own invite.

Don't give up hope. We have received multiple offers recently.

There is normally a webaddress that can be accessed to obtain the offer. Does anyone have this?
