Disney Visa 09/28 - 12/23 Code

What's your guess about it being available for the Poly during 12/7-12/14?

Others have said it won't apply to the Poly and that other code blocked out those dates.....

I know this is a different discount, but when we were at the Poly at the end of April 08, I tried to book the bounceback for any dates within the first two weeks of December and there was nothing available for any of the monorail resorts. The only Deluxes available for December and we tried multiple dates, were BC/YC and AKL, as well as SSR and OKW. That was months ago, I can't imagine they would hold back any rooms, so I think your chances are slim to none.

While we are waiting, a quick question from a new member? Sorry if this has been covered. I am planning my first family trip in October, so would like to save with the code if possible. I have only had my Disney Rewards Visa for awhile so I haven't gone through this before. Will the offer appear in the online Chase site or only in a email sent to me? Just curious since I cannot be home all day checking my email? I was under the impression that the Visa codes were not the individualized PIN type, so if Mousesavers or somewhere posts it I should be able to use it?

Wow! Welcome to the DIS and enjoy your first trip.

Sometimes, Chase doesn't send an email till after the booking codes have been announced. Some people report not receiving them. Make sure that you have checked off to receive emails from them. What most of us are waiting for is not a PIN code - it's a package or room discount code. Make sure you're also signed up with Mousesavers to be notified of special deals. I think being away from a computer might be a good thing - I use one all day at work so I keep checking over here. Believe me - when (hopefully, not if) the code does come out it will be posted here very quickly. I was amazed 2 yrs ago how fast the news spread.

Thanks to you both for the info. Technically its not my first trip, I went to the Magic Kingdom when I was a kid (still remember It's a Small World) and to Epcot when I was dating my husband back in 1995. This is the first time, however, we are going with our kids (3 and 6) and are very excited. It has actually turned into a multi-generational family reunion of sorts (12 people) and the logistics became a lot more complicated, so every bit of savings helps.

okay, so those of you that have an ap and are cardholders, do you book your room only discount with whatever discount comes out 1st? if you book and they release an ap discount better than your visa discount can you modify it?
are the dates ya'll are talking about for 9/30-12/31 for the upcoming visa discount? i need one for feb.

You never know, but that was just our experience for the early Dec. dates for the bounceback discount. This possible discount has dates later into Dec. so it will be interesting to see if anyone is able to book the Poly.

You can book now and change the rate to the best option later with no ill effects to your reservations or ADRs or anything else.
