Disney Visa 09/28 - 12/23 Code

They can apply the discount if they have your room available at the discount. Last year I had to change views to get the discount even though I had already booked with my DV.

Sorry if I missed this somewhere in the thread, but was last year's discount a set percentage off? I'm curious to try to figure out what the savings would be, if they modeled it after last year.

Thanks.

Does the discount apply to December 7th trips? Do you think it will be more then the 20 percent I already got? I wonder if they will let me undo the discount and use the other one if it is more.

Typically the Visa code is before the general public one simply because thats one of the perks for all us members. Seems like it will be dumb if they release the GP before anything else, it's like whats the point of releasing anything else if everyone can get everything on the first code. So I hope they don't do that.

I agree-

I think the DV will come out Thrusday 14th and then general will be the weekend.

Yeah I'm sorry but you're reading it wrong. Are you a cardholder? If so this is good news for you!

Something else I noticed from the mousesavers Web Site, is there was no general public 'room only' code for last October. Are we still thinking there will be one this year? Or just a package deal?

All I keep hearing about are for the room and tickets but I'm sure they'll do a room only too. I don't know though, I have no inside info. Anyone else know?

Looking at past years, it appears there have been few discounts for the first 3 weeks of October, yet according to touringplans.com and other Web Sites, it's a very slow time of the year.

Any reasons why there are not normally discounts during this time period?

So I called on Sunday since it seems like people are saying PIN numbers could randomly appear next to your name- I have never gotten a post card etc
they said no dice, no PIN :confused3

On a whim, I called back today since we are all waiting for Thursday and the VISA deal. Guess What!!!

A PIN next to my name!!!!!

its funny cause they don't like to tell you the specifics but she said 15 -20% off the package - now i have to figure everything out individually and see what kind of deal I actually got

I have "held" the reservation with no deposit until I can see what the visa deal is

I am so excited- even 15% is better than full price but I any savings is welcomed!!

Might actually throw in the DDP for the first time to spend less OOP when I get there.

ahhhhhh

Congratulations on the PIN.

It does make it so much more exciting. Just remember that if you book it, to check whatever code is coming out and see if it's a better deal. You never know.

we're booked for CBR Sept. 27-Oct. 2. If the visa discount is for Sept. 28 or beyond will we be able to apply it to our reservation? And will it be a discount to the whole package or just room only?

Columbus Day weekend is pretty popular. Also, Jewish holiday (Yom Kippur) is on Oct. 9.

I'll be down there Oct. 2-6. Guess I'm just stuck between the two promotional code periods?

not sure how to figure out when the promo dates are
we will be there the 16-20 and I have a PIN next to my name but am hoping VISA one is a better deal.

anyone have past experience for that? I can do room only or package don't really care as long as I am saving money.

My PIN now she said is 15-20% but could get more specific which drives me NUTS :scared:

Um, Yom Kippur is not going to make any difference in attendance. No observant Jew is going to be going to Disneyworld on Yom Kippur.
