Disney village

prob silly questions! i assume this area is outside of the Main park and therefore doesnt close so early? what kinda shops are there to wonder round? - hubby thought he was gonna escaping shopping with the park closing earlier than were used to at WDW and no downtown disney!!

The Disney Village is just outside the main parks, practically next to the train station.

It has a Disney store and a few other Disney shops plus resturants, bars etc. I would describe it as a smaller and less exciting version of DTD.

The Village is the area outside the parks, probably 5mins from the park. There're a few restaurants and a few shops. Nice big Disney Store there as well. It stays open till 11pm I seem to remember.

I love the shops in the Village - I can easily come out of there with one of those giant shop sacks filled to brim (and I have done before now )

I think the shops stay open until 12:00 midnight.
Unlike the previous posters, I found that I was done my shopping in 1/2 hour.
The "large" Disney store is anything but large IMHO. (compared to Dowtown Disney at WDW) Not a very large selection of clothing either.
