Some one bedrooms will have a partial ocean view (say looking between beach cottage buildings) you can certainly request an east facing 1 Bdrm - but it will only be a request.

We were at Vero earlier this month and can't wait to go back. It was a great place to relax after doing 8 nights at WDW.

This was our first trip so we only stayed 2 nights to check it out. We'll be staying longer on our future trips. I'm hoping to stay in one of the beach cottages sometime, they look wonderful.

19 days until my second visit to Vero!!!

I went two summers ago before I joined DVC. A good friend was already a member and invited me to join her for a week at the beach. I fell in LOVE with the resort and especially the treatment we received from the CM's. I was already a WDW lover, VB sealed the deal for me to purchase DVC myself.

This trip I'm taking my parents and DN for a 3 day visit to VB and then 3 days at SSR. We have Ocean view rooms, which is the same as I had last time. Very nice.

The beach is lovely, but the ocean can be a bit rough if you're not used to ocean swimming. Also, there is a shell bed that can be a bit nasty to step on if you don't have beach shoes. The pool is very nice, but got pretty busy so we spent most days on the beach. We only went in the pool after everyone went in for dinner.

This will be our first trip and we are only there for 4 nights.........................what would you rate as 'must dos' in terms of things to do ,places to go, where to eat and where to chill!?!! It will be me, hubby and son (6).

Also, does the pool get really busy in the summer? Do you have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a seat?!!!

Would love to see any pictures that anyone has got of the resort!

VB is my favorite DVC.

Someone asked about noise - we were in an inn room next to the laundry room last summer and noise was not a problem.

As for places to go, we actually enjoy just staying in the resort and dining in - so others can probably answer.

We had no trouble getting pool chairs in late July/first of August. The pool was busy though.

As for photos, we need a VB lovers thread to hold all the info - I'll start one, so check for pictures and etc.
