Disney Vans

I can't speak for how they were in the 80's, as I was born in the 90's and don't remember them. I don't find them heavy on my feet but they definitely aren't for everyone! I've been wearing them since I was a young teenager so I am very used to them now. Lol that's so funny that you say that they smell bad because I've honestly never had that problem, and I wear them sockless sometimes. I find that toms are much much worse.

I think foot-stink is a bigger problem for some people, than others. I've never had an issue with it, no matter what shoes I wear, how active I get, or how I treat them. But my feet are always on the dry side, at the best of times. My teenage son, on the other hand... wow, his sneakers can get rank! He came home after getting soaked in the rain at a festival, and the next morning my husband asked if one of the cats had peed in the front hall. :crazy2: I made him put them outside until garbage day, and then I threw them out. (They were not Vans, fortunately!)

I have Vans... not Disney, just regular and when I first got them they felt great. Then all of sudden I started developing calluses on my toes and those hurt. I even have special arch support inserts and that didn't help. I really wanted to like them, but, it hurt too much to wear them for over an hour.

Vans are essentially skateboarding shoes so they are flat, have grip, and . You'll probably either love them or hate them.

If someone is used to running shoes, it's going to be quite different
