Disney Vacation Clubs

I also was introduced to WDW when I was about 7. Now my wife and I plan our vacations there. There will probably be a period in their lives when it is less significant to them, but when they spread their wings, venture out and have families of their own, most likely they will they be looking to you at that time to share in a trip with them. There is something at WDW for all age classes? Or possibly you taking the grandkids and experiencing their first trip yourselves?

There is another aspect to consider also. Disney doesn't sit around and get stale. They're constantly building new, refurbing old, etc... In year to come there will definitely(going out on a limb here) be another park, other attractions similar to DTD or The Boardwalk and more resort. So whatever you're looking at now will only be bigger. That is just my take on it. But considering my first trip was in '72 they have not stopped growing.
