Disney Vacation Club Members

We signed up with the Disney Vacation Club. We figured with all the money we spend on vacation we mind as well travel with a great company. I like that there are hotels all over the world to stay at as well. We are using our points next year going to Hawaii! I am just wondering if anyone else is Disney Vacation Club members and if so do you know of any good websites like this related to it, web boards, ect? I do have the home website for members only.

Congratulations and Welcome Home! We are members and have loved every moment. Have you been on the DVC board or DVC Community board right here on the DIS. You won't find a more comprehensive place for info. There are tons of experts here and you can keep on all thats new with the DVC. Also, if you want resort pictures with photos of all the rooms at the DVC resorts, check www.wdwig.com or it may have been updated to www.allears.net. They are both for the same website.

There is a very active DVC board right here on the DIS! There is even a rent/trade board if you are into that.

I've found that the DIS is probably the best place for WDW info. The members here are always extremely helpful and knowledgable about all things Disney and DVC.

My BEST tip would be to download Caskbill's FREE DVC Points tracking program. I don't have the link handy, but Caskbill is a staple around here (and a newly appointed Moderator), so you'll most likely run across one of his posts. There's a link in his signature. It has been a TERRIFIC resource in planning our vacations. I think he's actually working on an update with a lot of new features. Can't wait for that!

Wow, thank you for all the Welcome Homes and good greetings! I do like this board! We are not using our points for Hawaii after all. We are saving them for a trip to disney in '06 . We'll stay at our home place which is Saratoga Springs

It's a great group of people here; feel free to ask questions - DVC can be a mite complicated now and then. But CaskBill and Doc are always willing to take off their shoes when the cipherin' gets hard.
