Disney vacation account bonus gift cards?

hello! I requested my bonus gift cards from paying off a vacation with my DVA. However, I never got any kind of email saying they received my request or that it was approved. Am I supposed to? Or do I just have to wait and hope it went through? I tried calling, and they said they only have access to requests made by phone, not through the website...

Same for me. No acknowledgement of my request (did mine last week). I called and the CM I spoke to said there isn't an email sent until the GC is being processed. Not sure if that is true or not. So, I am in 'have patience and see what happens' mode

That's what one CM told me, they said it takes 5-7 business days to process then I'd get an email. Well, today is day 7 and no email so I called and they said I was misinformed about the email. I just really hate not knowing!

I read from another source that DVA is being discontinued. Members are reviving emails about their options / 4 ways to obtain refunds.

I literally just loaded an extra $30 onto my account a few days ago. Then I thought it odd that my $40 monthly contribution hadn't hit my bank account today, so when I went to log in on dva it said under maintenance try back later. That was this morning. So I just went back to try to log in and I got that screen pictured in OP's post. I loved having the DVA because i set it to come off my debit card the same day as my paycheck goes in each month, and it was great that I could put "disney money" away and not be able to slide it back out of my savings acct or "cash in " my change jar for something else. So sad this is going away.

Yes it is being discontinued, but that should not affect this. I requested this a week and a half ago.
