Disney Vacation Account blunder... What would you do?

I loaded all my target cards into an account to pay for tickets...$1700 worth...and then realized that Disney Y.E.S. Tickets aren't bought through Disney?!? That never even occurred to me as a possibility. So I had to pay with a credit card and have all that Money sitting in an account. I can request $1000 on a card 3 weeks before we leave because that will be the 60 day mark for opening the account. Not only does it sound like the card won't arrive in time to take with us, I still have $700 stuck in the account! Any ideas?

The 60 days thing is just for earning the "interest", right? I don't think you have to keep it all in there until then to get it. And if it doesn't work for you, then who cares about the extra $20 GCs?

The account has to be open for 120 days to get any bonus on your purchases. You should be able to request a refund and it will go back on all those gift cards you entered.

Your account has to be open for 60 days before you can request a gift card.

OP, you should be able to get the money refunded to your gift cards in 3-4 days. Detail can be found at the link that PP provided above.
