Disney Vacation Account and using a travel agent

I am going to book a cruise through a travel agent. Can I still use my DVA to pay for the cruise through them?

I have read on here, yes. you have to call DCL to pay because you aren't suppose to give anyone your DVA acct number, but otherwise everything is the same.

I'm counting on this as I'm using a TA and DVA.

The DVA website tells you the number to call to make a payment when you are iding a TA. It's in the FAQ. Happy saving!

You're not "supposed" to give your account number to anyone, but I gave mine to my TA and she paid for our cruise with no problems.

How can I make a payment using my Disney Vacation Account on my reservation booked directly with Disney through my travel agent?
Once your travel agent has booked your reservations and you are ready to make a payment, your travel agent can provide you with your reservation number.
