Disney UK- Upgrading hotels

All the hotels seem to be online with the free dining dates we would like to go for next year- but theres no CSR

We've been having a look tonight and my BF wants to stay at AKL- I love this hotel but I'm not sure if our funds will strech to a stay there. I think POR looks nice too so I'm thinking we could book POR and then if we have the money upgrade to AKL..... How easy is it to upgrade the hotels with Disney, will be charged a fee even tho we'd be spending more money?

There isnt a fee - you just phone them up you keep the same confirmation code and don't even get charged an extra deposit - your bill just goes up I read the other day on here that Disney UK still havent loaded all the disney hotels into the system - maybe give them a call and ask?

Thanks Gemma- Well there was 11 hotels on and there is 16 hotels on now. When I spoke to them a few weeks ago they said they couldnt quote for CSR as they hadnt been given rooms and it was unlikely they would come online. I'l keep checking tho LOL
