just been on disney uk to check prices for august 2010 and they are offering sarataga springs and old key west for the price of a moderate, this includes free table service ddp and not the qsdp. don't know if this has been posted but thought some disers may be interested.:thumbsup2

Thanks for posting that. We are looking to book 5 days in August 2010 and were considering POR, but may look at booking one of these resorts.

Cheers.

Thanks for posting, not seen this offer.
Our 16 nights OKW with 3x 21 day tix for this August is £2,164, Next August £2,377. I was at my limit this year. Maybe change my mind after we have been this August if the offer is still there. Not sure we are going to enjoy eating onsite.

Have to say that I love eating onsite as there's so much choice. Epcot ihas many great themed restaurants and the individual hotels are lovely to eat at as they're all different as well. I love looking through the menus on Deb Wills site and then making my ADRs.

Am now sitting at work dreaming of Disney and when I can return - aah

So far my experience has not been good, don't enjoy planning a meal day before never mind months in advance, we like to just eat when hungry, might be 5pm, might be 9pm. Didn't enjoy picking the meals, portions look so small in some places. Also making the 1st 10 days ADR's last Friday took 1hour 14 mins. But I will reserve final judgement until I have been, hopefully the food/dining experience will be better than the planning.

OOOOOhhh, thanks for the heads up!

Just wondering - what is UK Disney's cancellation policy? If I booked this deal and then later cancelled would I lose the £250 deposit?

How does Saratoga Springs compare to POR? Which is considered the better resort?

I was having a look at this earlier (we are going for 3 weeks).

Those 2 resorts are still £300 more expensive then port orleans and if you upgrade the dining plan to table service the difference is jusy £84 making it £2184 at Port Orleans instead of £2100 at SS or OKW.

So I may just be tempted to have a look at OKW ;)

I wish they would extend the price to September/October time .. I'd be very keen to take up that offer :goodvibes

Tillybud Free Dining for next year extends until 17th Nov & must be booked by 31st Dec.
SD:thumbsup2

Well, what do you know - just browsing the offer and the fingers slipped and booked OKW for August next year for 5 days :goodvibes It was working out cheaper than POR as we didn't have to add the extra cost of upgrading from the QSDP to DDP.

We're looking to have a few days in New York up front, and then a week after OKW in a villa. Just need to get the flights to tie-in now.

I have just priced up the difference between what I was expecting to pay for POR and OKW/SS and I'm only looking at a small amount, I think I know what I will be doing :goodvibes thanks for posting this, I'd never even thought about pricing them up :cheer2:

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.

I've been so close to booking but holding out for SSR prices to come down.

Luckily I waited - now booked for two weeks in August. They were also offering 14 day tickets for the price of 7.

Woo hoo!!!!:cool1:
