Disney TV at Sears for $29! Better Hurry

nope I used my sears card and they cancelled my order and the other stated they denied my card.... Just because it states being processed doesnt mean a thing- they will catch up and cancel the orders that were made. If you got it the same day than you are lucky! :earsboy:
 
Saturday morning I ordered it and received and printed all confirmations and the email saying it was ready to be picked up in store. We were not able to go until 4:30 that afternoon to get it because my husband was at work and this was a gift for our son.

He went in, swiped our CC and then someone came out and said they were sold out. He said the store started with 3 and 3 other people received the TV at the $29.97 price. My DH said he was very nice and said it was a heck of a deal and then gave my DH the 800 to call customer service when his instore supervisor was unable to help. Like everyone else, that went no where.

We still have not received ANY cancellation email for the first one I ordered for pick up THAT day and then one I ordered for my mom for her office that said pick up 17-19 days.

I guess I should just call to cancel everything instead of playing the wating game. My only problem is that I am afraid they THINK we got the item because our CC was swiped in store.

Like I stated in my earlier post I have been deal hunting for years and this has happened a lot. This one was legitimate, but believe or not there are also some cases where the deals were not on the up-and-up. For example, coupons have been altered and then when we try to use them the retailer tells us that they were fraudulent. Now that would make me mad.

Don't sweat it - you win some, you lose some - just keep posting those deals, y'all. :)
 
I just went to the website and was still able to order for in store pick up in 2 weeks..... I am starting to think the BBB should be called....

This is what I did. All the stores really close to me had a 10-19 day delivery time, but I finally found one that was 45 minutes away that had it in stock. I picked that one and had my pickup email in about 2 hours and and went right away and picked it up. I would suggest to keep trying different zip codes in your area to see who has it in stock and pick that store. You should have a better chance to get it then.

I used a non-Sears cared to pay for my order. My first one still says processed and the second one that I picked up already still says ready for pickup. :confused3

One more thing, the store that I picked it up at yesterday is now saying in stock in 17-19 days.

My order's on-line status says "Processed" - but i still have NOT received a confirmation email!!

And i ordered it almost 24 hours ago! Has everyone else received their email? HELP Please!!???
 
My order goes from processed to processing and back. I'm just telling myself it won't happen so that the disappointment will ,hopefully, be lessend. I am angry though that Sears kept the ad on the web site for 2 days. BTW the tv is now being advertised at the top of the page for 104.49 but it's still 29.00 if you scroll to the bottom item!

That is the smaller 13 inch for $104. The 19 in is still 29.97
 
I ordered mine just now. One in my name, one in my husbands. (we have 2 kids) I have confirmation from Sears in both of my email accounts. It's not saying its in stock for pick up, but it did give a pick-up confirmation number. It also states that this email is a receipt for pick-up when it arrives.

Fingers crossed that the tv's will come in. Thanks all!!

Well, I've got my confirmation e-mail saying my order will be ready to pick up in 17 - 19 days, but when I try to look it up on line - my e-mail address isn't on file!!! Yet I'm using the SAME e-mail address to which they sent the confirmation! Ah well, I don't hold out much hope for this TV, but Target has a 19" no-name for $84.99, and I've got $30 in Gift Cards...



A couple of suggestions to other posters - those of you considering contacting the Better Business Bureau might want to also/instead contact www.bbbonline.org, given that this is an online offer.

And to whoever has multiple TVs but doesn't want to go through the hassle of selling on ebay and the related shipping costs (and liabilities) - if you live in Massachusetts, please PM me :teeth: No, seriously, check www.craigslist.com. Chances are you can sell your extra TV/s there to somebody in your area - and they can pick up, therefore, no shipping hassles.
 
It's back to not being able to order you get--The page cannot be displayed--when you click on it............RATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
For those of you that took your confirmation to the store and picked it up... Didi you only go to the store that you had ordered it be shipped to? Or did you use your confirmations at a different store..

I am going (in vain) to take my letters to the Sears stores around me and see I can do... But I wasn't sure if I could check all Sears, or just the one I had ordered it from...
 
Just called my local Sears and asked them if they honored their online prices, the manager said they do, but he said they will not honor the Mickey tv $29.97. He said all orders that were placed WILL be canceled. They will not be selling any more for that price, so if you did order one and didn't get your e-mail yet, you will probably be getting the cancelation. I even told him I already ordered it, and he said YOU WILL NOT GET IT FOR THAT PRICE. No more shopping at Sears for me...shame on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
No the $104 one is the 13 inch with remote. The 19 inch still shows $29.97.

I ordered one at 8 am this morning and will wait and see what happens. But now if I wanted to order it does not let me. Says page not found or something like that.

Its gonna be a fun few days reading all the post about this....

I agree if they cancel mine I will be writing the BBB since you can still purchase it online for 29.97 and why we are add it let's write the higher ups at Sears.

I do not shop at Sears much and this will stop all shopping at Sears if they cancel it.

I could understand a mistake but they should honor the ones that have been ordered. Is this the good old bait and switch. Offer the lower price and then say oh you can have it for such and such.

The manager even gave me a phone number to call agfter he said they will NOT be honoring the prices of the tv's already ordered...here it is if anyone wants to call it...if you do let us know what is said.....1-800-549-6518
