Disney TV at Sears for $29! Better Hurry

I just ordered one online. Have to wait 18-19 days to pick up. So I am not sure it will happen. I sure hope so. I have been wanting a tv for my room. This would be great!

I never shop at Sears so they honor it.
 
i'll keep my fingers crossed for all of us...this would be an awesome X-mas present for my little guy!
 
Well, I just filed my complaint with the BBB. Honestly, I don't think it will do much good, but it makes me feel better...
 

Has anyone gone in without their "Ready to Pick" up email, but just the web page with your order and gotten one? I am thinking about having DH attempt this tomorrow!

Just curious if anyone got lucky that way. :)
 
FYI:

It seems that most people who order it online and pick it up the same day with their email confirmation is getting the tv (that is how I got mine). So, I was putting in different zip codes for the stores, to see if any of them still have it in stock. I found a store that does, but it is not close enough for me to go. If anyone lives in the Nashville area, you can order it and pick it up (same day) at the Goodlettsville, TN store at the Rivergate Mall. Just thought someone may want to know.

That's exactly what I did. My confirmation e-mail said the TVs wouldn't be in at my closest store until 10/25, so I went to another store. I just took the printout of my confirmation e-mail.

Well, i just ordered 2 more...before my order was "pending processing. These two are "processed".....I don't know if that means anything, but I thought i'd share....good luck everyone
 
I fully agree that if Sears.com wanted to fix the error they could have fixed it within 5 minutes, but for some reason they don't want to fix it. I just checked my order status at sears.com and it says cancelled, however, it has been that way for several hours and I still have not received and e-mail telling me that it was cancelled :confused3 . Anyhow, the only reason I got my T.V. is because I didn't wait for them to send me the e-mail stating that is was ready for pick up. I just printed the page that showed I had paid for the item and took it down to Sears right away, when I got there they told me that they had not received my order from Sears.com yet but could sell me the item and then when the order came through they would cancel it for me or when I received the e-mail that it was ready to pick up I could cancel it, I told the guy that that would be fine and so he proceeded to get my order ready for me then he came to the price that was on my print out and he said I'll have to get approval for this. I said no problem and he called a manager. Lucky for me the manager was not interested at all and only walked into the office to get something out of a cabinet, while he was in there they guy that was helping me said " hey did you know that they are selling our 19" Disney T.v.'s at sears.com for 29 bucks" the manager just said "really I should get one" and then walked away so after that the guy sort of laughed and rung me up. I walked out 2 minutes later with the 19" T.V. for a grand total of $32.00 with tax. I guess it just depends on who you talk to. If you really want one do the online order print out your confirmation and go straight to Sears and see what happens, don't wait for the pick up e-mail. There was only one Sears in my area that showed them in stock when I placed my order so that is the one I chose all the others showed something like 17 days for delivery. Good luck to everyone.

How many of you used your Sears card? I'm wondering if Sears is more hesitant to cancel Sears card orders or more hesitant to cancel those orders using non Sears cards.
 
BTW It's back up again at the 29.97 price (if Sears wanted this fixed they would have fixed it!) but all the stores in my area now say 18 - 20 days for delivery.

That's why i'm so irritated......why let us order it if it is an error....clearly this has been going on for a while....grrrrrrr
 
I tried to get them to price match in store today and they wouldn't do it.. The guy was all.. Hang on, let me see if it is in stock.. and came back fifteen minutes later (which I figured meant he went to a manager-cause can't they check stock through their computers?) and he said management wouldn't let him match it.. But I just bought one off the webpage and hope to take in my order information tomorrow to get them to match it before it gets cancelled.. Here's to hoping.

This is ridiculous. I'm thinking they need to fire the IT people "fixing" their problem. :confused3
 
I also just ordered, but my status is "Processed." I haven't made it through the entire thread yet, so I apologize if this was said already, but I am making sure to take screen shots of everything so that I have evidence of ordering it and receiving a confirmation. Hopefully this ends up working out for everyone! :cheer2:

when did you order it?
im printing off this slip that says processing and taking it in with me to the store tomorrow.
 
I just checked again and my order status changed from processed to processing...can't be a good sign :confused:
 
I ordered mine yesterday morning and got my cancellation email over night. They also said my credit card was declined. THAT makes me mad. :mad:

This morning I could order it again if I wanted to though. It's still there and you are able to order it. Sears sucks.
