Disney TV at Sears for $29! Better Hurry

did anyone get the Disney DVD Insider that was inside the newly released Cinderella Dvd? It has a $10 rebate on Disney tv's and model DT1900 is listed. Wonder if I could get an additional $10 off too? It has to be mailed by the end of December. Of course, I don't have one in my hot little hand either. Still waiting to see if it comes through. Just a thought.
 
Maybe they are figruing it's a close out item let it slide and besides it would cause lots of bad press-not a good idea this close to Christmas.

In fact have you check EBAY there is a bunch up for bid at low prices, guess we know who picked them up in batches. :rolleyes1
 
I am SO aggrivated right now! I purchased 2 this morning, got my confirmation emails and everything. Said they would be ready for pick up on Oct. 29th. Well, called the store directly, and they said they had one in stock. Explained I had just purchased online, and asked if I could come and get that one.. they said yes, they would hold it for me.

Got dressed and drove over there 40 miles, only to be told by the manager that we could not have it today. He DID say we COULD get it, and at that price, but we would have to wait until our scheduled pick up day.

Wish they would have just told me that on the phone! :rolleyes:
 
Darn it, had it all in my cart and ran downstairs to get my Credit card and now it won't let me purchase...says error page not found UUUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

I just got off the phone with SEARS.COM...she said NO ONE will be getting into the site for that TV,,they are in the process of putting the RIGHT price on it,,,,she said the ones that GOT in and GOT IT,,,were lucky,,,,there will be no more at that price....I told her maybe they want to put a NOT IN STOCK sign on it then,,cause it is still listed at THAT price,,and to have people trying for something that is NOT gonna be is CRAZY...she just said WELL it is being taken care of ,,sorry,,and good night... geeeeeeeeeeeez ....I guess I can get it a bit CHEAPER on ebay LOL...

Just went back on sears.com, and did the order tracking with my purchase number, and it says my order has been processed, and will be available for pick up Oct. 28th.

Wonder if that means I'll be able to pick it up later with no problems? :confused3
 
Well if they tookyour CC and its paid I am sure you can...I am taking the PRINT OUT of the PRICE that is on line to the store tomorrow,,and see if they will honor it..it does not have a disclaimer.....so we will see...

I'm sorry I was so excited to be able to order and wanted otherrs to get in on the luck. If I had known the website would stop allowing orders again, I never would have posted.
 
OK, I ordered one yesterday morning and got my confirmation email that it would be delivered to the store in 10-17 days. Still have not received a cancellation email or phone call. I checked this morning around 8 am and saw they could be ordered again for the $29.97 price so I played around with different stores until I found one that had it available for pickup immediately. I ordered it and 2 hours later got my email to pick it up. I drove 45 minutes to the store and had it in my hands in 2 minutes flat. My original order still says processing. If I get that one too that's ok because the tv in my bedroom is starting to die so I can replace it with this one. I'm very happy that I got one for my DD for Christmas.

Check your Order Status online. Orders with a status of "Processing" cannot be canceled. When the status changes from Processing to Shipped it means that your order has left Sears distribution facility and is on its way to the carrier's regional distribution center. The typical duration of this stage is 1-3 business days. As a result, tracking numbers and other information may not be available until your shipment arrives at the carrier's regional center.
 
I was able to pick up the two that I had ordered yesterday morning.

My confirmation e-mail said my order wouldn't be ready for pick up until 10/25. Hoping to get the TVs before they cancelled my order, I called the nearest Sears today, and was told they don't have any in stock and won't be getting any in.

I called another Sears, and they had two left. So, I hauled it down there. At first, I had some trouble because my receipt said the TVs were to be picked up at the other store. Then I had to sweat it out for another 20 minutes when the salesman disappeared with my paperwork. But, ultimately, I got my TVs! :cool1:

I had to bring my kids to pick up the TVs and I really didn't want them to see them. So, I brought some blankets to cover the TVs. The merchandise pick up guys were so sweet. They took my blankets in the back room, brought out the fully covered TVs and loaded them in my car--very careful not to let my kids see their Christmas presents!

My order status still says "Processing". :confused3

rie's mom------- NOTHING to be sorry about,,,,you did a GOOD thing,,if you had not posted NOONE would have received a great deal.... I am sorry i didnt get one BUT hey ..it wasnt meant to be!! I do think Sears could of taken the price off by now though.....

I may go check out EBAy,,might still be cheaper then the 149 Sears wants!!!!!

My DH was able to order one online today. He took the confirmation to our local Sears store & was able to pick it up. They were not too happy about it, but gave it to him. Our email receipt says 29.XX (whatever it was, I forget :)).

After reading the disclaimer above I am afraid that they will go back & charge our Sears card for the additional amount. If they do, I will return the TV. Anyone else worried about this?
