Thinking about doing a B2B on the Disney Treasure (each 7 nites - Eastern, then Western) but we've never said on the Treasure before. Our experience on the Wish was not that great and would not want to do a B2B on the Wish and hoping others can tell me that the Treasure is much better. Thoughts please.

I would just do a single 7 night on the Treasure before committing to a b2b. It is the Wish with some nice extras like added entertainment and different theming for venues.

I was 'meh' on the Wish (didn't love it, but didn't hate it). I did the Treasure earlier this year and loved it-it's my second favorite ship. Yes, the layout is still a little odd in spots, but I love the theming. Maybe part of it is because I had more time to explore the Treasure and get used to it (7-night versus 3-night). I do agree that doing two 7-nights b2b might be ambitious in case you don't like it. But I wouldn't write the Treasure off completely.

We sailed the Treasure last month - normally sail the fantasy. We were happy to not be doing a B2B. The lack of shade on the adult only deck was a deal breaker for us. It was the first time in 17 DCL cruises that we were happy to be leaving on embarkation morning.

If I had the time I would do a b2b on the treasure, after a week i was not ready to get off the ship. We liked the wish and need to sail on it again.

That’s a lot repeating everything with 2 B2B Treasure cruises. The first time in the MDE are almost exactly the same as the Wish for 1923 and world of Marvel. You get different second night menus and 2 different Coco shows instead of Frozen. Plus a pirate night. With a 7 night way more time to explore the ship than a 3/4 nights on the Wish

If your issue with the Wish is the layout of the ship then you'll have the same issue on the Treasure. They are the same, just with different names for the various public spaces.

I think the themed dinners would be the major obstacle for me... The dream for example would be more manageable in that regard for me.

We didn’t care much for the food in the dining rooms and our servers were not very good.
I think servers can be hit or miss on any ship, so I don't think anyone can tell you that your experience will be better or worse on the Treasure. I would say that you should talk to the head server if something with your serving team isn't good and they will certainly work to make it better.

Some of the food will be the same, 1923 and Marvel will have the same menu on the first night as they do on the Wish. However, they will have new menus on the second night. Coco is completely new and we really enjoyed both meals there.

I can say that we generally like the food in the dining rooms, but I know that others do not. A piece of advice I'd give is to be creative...for example: I don't care much for the entrees on the pirate menu, but I really like the crab cakes. So, rather than ordering a "meh" entree, I ask two crab cakes as my main course.

This is all great advice. I've been on the Fantasy several times, had some really great servers sometimes and once some not great servers. So that's not specific to one ship. (You also always should talk with the head server if you have issues, so they can work to address them).

I also agree with being creative-don't feel you have to order one from every course (or just one thing from each course). I've sometimes gotten three different appetizers and used that as my meal.

I do this exact thing with the pirate menu too. 😂 Two crab cakes and some fries is a perfect meal!

We sailed the Treasure February 8-15 by ourselves.
Again March 29-April 5 with friends and we had a table of 9.
And again June 7 -21 with our daughter and grandsons.
We had great servers on the February cruise.
Our March cruise, our server actually apologized for giving the worst service he had ever given. It was BAD!
Again on the June cruise, our servers were not great again.
Our head server from our March cruise moved up to be in charge of all dining on the Treasure and was on leave for our March cruise.
On our June cruise, he said when he returned from his leave, over 40% of the servers were new.
With Disney opening new ships, the servers are probably not going to be as good as what we have had in the past.
It will take a while for the servers to get really good like we have been used to on Disney. (If they ever do!)

If you didn't like the food on the Wish, you probably won't like the food in the main dining rooms on the Treasure.
Our February cruise the food was OK but the selections were not that exciting.
But our March/April cruise, there was more than one plate at our table that went back every night because it came out cold!
Our last cruise in June, our food did at least come out warm.
And the show in Coco is LOUD! And we unfortunately had Coco 3 nights. Fortunately there is only a show 2 nights.

But the food, I think the chefs try to make it too fancy! They need to just keep it simple.
Especially Coco!
Here is our menu from our third night at Coco from our June cruise:

Our best dining team was on the Dream. The service was just spectacular. Truly world class.
Our worst dining experience/service was on the Wish. It felt like the Head Server was extremely competent and frustrated by his team who made countless mistakes.
Our most apathetic/least interested service team was on the Magic. Couldn’t tell you their names, don’t remember anything about them. Nothing bad happened, just no relationship there. Was quite surprised for being on the smallest ship.

We felt the same with our Magic wait staff in May. Saw the assistant server twice in 4 nights and our main server was just doing what had to be done. No type of real interaction at all
Our best was on the fantasy last year.

We are not fans of the Wish but did the Treasure in March and enjoyed it! The theming is better and there are a lot of "extra" entertainment and photo ops. The shows in Coco were good too.

Lots of discussion here about serving teams. I"m sure they are fair representations of what happened on a specific cruise but we should all keep in mind that the crew changes regularly. The servers who you had two weeks ago could now be on a different ship or back in their home country.
