Disney Travel On Demand ?...

I'm not sure where to post this sorry if its in the wrong place.

But I was watching TV today and they had a commercial about Disney Travel On Demand.

I searched around the internet and this is what I found

-- "Making the Magic" - A reality show which follows the trials and tribulations of a hopeful entertainer who tries to fulfill his dream to become a performer at Walt Disney World Resort.

-- "Disney Fact or Fiction" - This show will reveal secrets as they separate Disney fact from fiction.

-- "Dream Makers" - Unsuspecting guests are randomly surprised with some extravagant prizes and unique experiences such as spending the night in a brand new royal suite built within Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort, to taking over the one-of-a-kind Mickey Mouse Penthouse Suite in Disneyland.

-- "Disney Travel Insiders" - Premiering in June, The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck hosts this show which offers unique travel tips and tricks for experiencing a Disney Vacation.

I have TimeWarner Cable and live in Southern California. I can't seem to find it in my schedule.

I tried calling TimeWarner but the rep wasn't too helpful.

Can anyone help?

I have Time Warner and saw that commercial a couple of weeks ago. It was a channel that isn't on the regular listings, but I did get the channel and watched the Disney shows. Unfortunately, I didn't write the channel # down because i assumed it was a new listing and that I would be able to find it, again, but it's not listed, so I don't know how to get it back. Sorry that I can't help you, but I'm hoping that someone will be able to, as I really enjoyed it.

Here in NC, this is the info I have for that programming.

Ch. 1107: Journey TV On Demand - Coming May 21
Journey TV will feature long form content from travel destinations and will initially have content from destinations and tourism clients such as:
Disney Parks
Busch Entertainment
National Parks
Various State Tourism Boards

They may also show these shows on other channels periodically, but this is an on demand channel only available on digital cable where you choose the program commercial free. The channel number is probably different where you are, but if you call back the TWC office, just ask them what channel Journey TV on Demand is for you and that should do it. HTH

BTW - Even as an employee, I never remember hearing about this. Now that I've seen your post, I'll be watching these tonight!

Thanks for the reply-I tried your channel and it was sports here in New Hampshire, so I did a search and found it in the listings on channel 1282. It wasn'tg listed last week so must have been new. I love watching the Disney specials-different than the ones on the Travel Channel.

I called TWC and they can't find JourneyTV in their system. I guess it is not being offered in Southern California.

on time warner cable open your onscreen guide and select "on demand", then select "marketplace", then select "journey TV" and one option after you open journey TV is disney travel.

I recently heard about this and I am dying to find it too!!

I live in South Florida and we have Comcast, but I don't think it is yet available. Does anyone know differently??

And for those of you that already do have it...how is it???

I also have Comcast (in NH) and I don't see it listed in the on-demand yet here.

Sorry, but it's not on Comcast. It's only currently available on Cablevision and Time Warner Cable.

Cablevision has an option that Time Warner doesn't. Subscribers can use their remote controls to request a call from a Disney representative to book a vacation package. The representative is supposed to call within 15 minutes, but I haven't heard if that's been working successfully. I have Time Warner so I can't try it myself.
