Disney Transportation or rental car?

Thank you both for the replies. I have decided we will definitely rent a vehicle. After reading some other threads and in trying to put our itinerary together, it seems the smartest choice. We won't be able to use ME to/from the airport (staying offsite). The shuttle sounds like it would be cost quite a bit (thanks for calling!) plus a car would give us more flexibility with times and grocery store run etc. Sounds like a no brainer.

Checking into rates now, thanks so much!! I've heard Alamo recommended a lot so will check there first

We love Disney transportation. The first time we went we drove and stayed off property. DH drove. One day we ended up in downtown Orland instead of MK. (DH is terrible w/ directions and navigation) The last time we went we drove and stayed on property. We used Disney transportation. We did not get lost once. ;-)

DH now says he will always just use Disney transportation. It is so much easier for us. We never had any problems w/ it. I think only one time there was standing room only on the bus. It was closing time at MK and it was raining. We didn't care. We were tired and just wanted to go to our room. We love Disney Transportation.
