I just finished making reservations to split our vacation between onsite (at the CRB during our WDW days) and offsite for SeaWorld, etc. touring. A main factor in choosing on site at all was to avoid the multiple steps needed to get to MK from offsite. It was my understanding that, if you stay onsite, Disney transportation takes you right to the gate at MK. In the Unofficial Guide, it says that the Disney bus takes you from the Caribbean Beach to TTC, and then from there you take the monorail/boat to MK. Which is it???
Thanks!

You may want to call the guest services desk. They used to have a buss that dropped off right at the front gate but the last time I was there was in 1990. Here is a bump maybe sone knows the answer. Post over on the resort board and I am sure you will get an answer quickly.

The guidebook is wrong. All buses from CBR to MK take you all the way to MK and drop you at the turnstiles. If you are driving your own car, however, you must park at the TTC and take the monorail/ferry over to MK.

Is this a really old guidebook? Years ago, the Disney buses did drop you at the TTC, but not for many years. Now, the bus from CBR (and all other WDW resorts) takes you directly from your resort to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom. The only exceptions are the (non-Disney owned) resorts located in Hotel Plaza, which have their own bus transportation which operates to the TTC.

Thanks for the replies! To confirm, I called CRO and, yes, the buses take you right to the gate. The guidebook was the 2001 Unofficial Guide to WDW and it did seem a bit outdated. It kept making comments about the Caribbean Resort being in need of renovation, but I know it's been completely renovated. True, they finished up this year, but the book might have mentioned that the process had already begun.
Thanks again!
