Cancelled Spirit of Aloha so considering doing HDD again, if we do I would not drive as beer is included.
Staying at OKW. What would be the easiest way to get to HDD?
Would it be bus to DTD then is there one direct to Pioneer Hall? or is it to Outpost then to Pioneer Hall.
Don't fancy 3 buses each way.

Just found a website that says to do this, any easier way?
bus marked DOWNTOWN DISNEY
at Pleasure Island, transfer to bus marked TRANS/TKT CENTER
at Transportation and Ticket Center, Board bus marked CROCKETT or BOONE

Depending what show you are going to and how late MK is open - we used MK as a change point. We got bus to MK then boat to Fort Wilderness as Pioneer Hall is right by the dock. On the way back we got the boat to the Contempory and walked back to MK as the line for getting the direct MK boat was long and we don't mind the walk.

Otherwise I would take a bus to any park that was open and change there for a FW bus as the DTD busses are the worst. Although from OKW you could get a boat to DTD then bus to FW. You will have to get an internal bus as well though.

BTW the only buses from DTD now are to the resorts.

Thats how we got there, bus to MK and Boat across to Ft Wilderness. Coming out there where buses to all resorts and parks, so just got the bus to our resort.

Whenever we go, we got to MK and catch the boat to FW. As said above, the dock at FW is right by Pioneer Hall, and it saves all the hassle of having to try and catch the internal buses to Pioneer Hall from the Outpost. Then, we just catch the bus to our resort, which are situated at the end of the pathway on the right as you come out of Pioneer Hall.

Thanks everyone. No probems once we get their, Did Hoop 2 years ago, done Mickeys BBQ and eaten 3 times at Trails end but always by car so we know our way around once there, Don't mind boats but I don't like buses or monorails.
Just have to decide if its worth having a drink and not driving, will decide on the day if I fancy a drink or not.

We did the late show and as others have said, we got bus to MK, boat to Fort Wilderness and bus from outside Pioneer Hall back to resort. However, be warned! Bus journey back to Pop took us just over a week (ok slight exaggeration!), we seemed to do all resorts. Not good if you have had a few to drink and need the bathroom, and altho doesn't apply to you Wayneg, really not good for little ones as they seemed to be falling unconscious all over the bus!

Not used Disney buses since we stayed at ASMovies about 8 years ago, they were a nightmare and said never again.
Hopefully have a better experience this time as I have just rung and booked HDD for Tuesday 18th August. Late show, thats all they had available.
