I called Disney, but it was going to be a 3 hr wait to talk to someone, so figured someone here might be able to help. I just booked round trip ground transfers with Disney for our March cruise. I did the booking online since it was going to be a long wait to do it over the phone. The online info said I'd have to enter flight info, but when I did the booking it never asked for the info. Will it ask for this when we do the check in at 30 days? We are actually flying in the day before our cruise and are staying at one of the Marriott's by the airport. My plan is for us to take the hotel shuttle to the airport the morning of our cruise. I was told this is doable, but wanted to call Disney before I booked the transfer, but can't be on hold for 3 hrs right now. I'm not sure where we go to get on the bus at the airport, so was going to ask that. Also will we be assigned a specific time to be at the airport to get on the bus, or is it just show up and when there's room you'll get on? Thanks

When you do the 30 days it asked. We didn't use transfers to/from airport and it still asked.

Yes, online check-in always wants to know how you're traveling & where you're going to / coming from. They will ask for flight numbers & times if you haven't already shared them with Disney.

At MCO airport, go to side B, level 1 to find the DCL transfer area. You do not have to arrive at a specific time. You just show up and check in with them, and they'll put you in their queue system for a bus- first come, first served. It's quite easy.

This is exactly what we did for our cruise on Fantasy in January. When you get to your hotel, ask the bus driver or concierge about getting back to the airport for the DCL shuttle and they'll know exactly what to do and tell you when your should plan to leave. We left for the airport from the hotel at 0900 and were there at around 0925. The DCL shuttle is usually in the B40, 41 or 42 position, and there will be a check-in inside. Take your airline tags off your bags and put the DCL ones on before you arrive. Once you check in, they'll direct you to a place to take your luggage. For us it was a white box truck right outside, but depending on what time you get there it might just be under the bus too.

Nice thing about the bus is that your PAT doesn't matter any more - you check in and start the boarding process (COVID test, passports, security, boarding) as soon as you get there. No extra waiting.

Have fun!

Thank you. I hadn't thought about telling the hotel shuttle driver about us getting on the DCL shuttle, very good advice to do so, thanks again.
